Cushion nose too high?

I bought a 4 1/2 x 9 commercial Brunswick from a pool hall. I don't know the model but it was made in 1995.

The table banks very short and I was told the nose of the cushion, where the ball hits, is too high. I measured it at slightly less than an 1/8" higher. A friend suggested the cushion cloth wasn't cut off properly or at all.

I'd like to have it fixed and recovered but there's no one in this area.
I live in western North Carolina, any recommendations?

The equator of the ball.

The equator of a 2 1/4" ball is 1 1/8".... 1/8" over the equator would be 1 1/4".

An ideal cushion nose is 1 7/16". Your cushion nose as described is 3/16" low.

Ok, the cushion height is 1 3/8", sorry about my confusing description. My table banks short compared to virtually everywhere else I go. I'm trying to determine the cause and what to do about it? I've had a lot of suggestions from friends but I figured this would be the place to ask.

My table has a cushions at that height too.
It kicks about a quarter of diamond too short on medium speed kicks .
You do have an old table with old cushions though.
They might need replacing already.

I believe this particular table always banked shorter, even when new. The other tables in the room were the same brand, cloth, etc
