He added an extremely nice Leather wrap plus, a new 13mm linen based ferrule with a "Next to New" Triangle tip. FANTASTIC "Players" cue!!! It Is The Wrong Colors. The Titlist Was Maple Mahogany Green And Purple. The Forearm On This Cue Really Doesn't Have A Name. It Was Mass Produced Overseas.

They are points made by Adams. Palmer used them quite a bit (see Palmer Collector website)...

not adam points either

sorry, but those irradesent veneers say - cheap '80s Taiwan import

70's Palmer made in Japan

You are correct.....this is a Palmer made overseas in the 70's -- and your right again.....at this price, awfully darn cheap too ;)

Dale,

Just to set the record straight, there were some Taiwan blanks Palmer had made by KPS (now Falcon) too - but they were not full splice. They ended at the handle. They were slightly longer points with obviously thinner veneers.

This one here, with the wrap off, would show full splice construction (but a shortie full splice). It's an Adam blank for sure, but it was made to Palmer specs. Adam used these colors too. This forearm was just damaged and repaired on this cue, unfortunately, or people would be buying it.

I have several Palmers with this forearm - it's quality work. I think the Taiwan forearm Palmers are the low point of their cue making and it did come in the 1980's as you said.
