I'm really at a loss whether copying Falcon's butt taper makes the cue a custom cue or a copy.

I've had more than a few pros shoot with it and say "Wow!" because of how good it feels, even offers to buy it. I was letting Dee Adkins shoot with it last week and finally realized the reason it feels so good, atleast to Dee and myself, is that the butt is smaller in diameter compared to other cues. I was wondering if its more of a pain for cue makers to make butts to certain measurements or not? Thanks for any responses.

I applaud you for your efforts, and relentless quest for what makes a cue play the best. I think we need more people that truly think this way!qbilder said:We all have our own magic. We use it in different ways, and sadly many don't know how to access it. My magic is my formula for a particular cue, no matter what color or design it may have. Some guys' magic is the ability & desire to offer infinite diversity, conforming fluidly to an individual player's desires. And some are just lost, searching for their identity, darting here & there like a fish swimming for cover. So neither good, nor bad, no best are any of us. We are the best to the players who love us most.
