Custom cuemaker best bang for the buck?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions I called Pat Diveney and I am going with a butterfly sneaky cocobolo with Red, Orange, Yellow veneers that he already has in progress. Now I just need to start saving up for a 3x5 Murnak case.

I've been curious about Diveney cues. Let us know what you think of the finished product.

For anybody else looking for cuemakers like you described, Bob Dzuricky makes gorgeous, great hitting cues at very reasonable prices.

Leon Sly and Joe Baker both make real nice cues. They're good guys and will work with you. I've had each of them build me a cue to my specs and they both were a pleasure to work with.

Dale erry has some nice looking cues for your price range and cheaper. I have one I paid $150 for with free S&H. One of the best cues Ive ever owned and maybe the best. I got mine shipped the next day. He has a web site and also sells low ends on Ebay ($130- $500.. Johnnyt

Olney

I have to throw in another vote for Jeff Olney. I picked up one of his PJ players and it's amazing. It's a wonderful playing cue and the finish on it is perfection. At his prices I just don't believe you can do any better from what I've seen.

Jeff olney without a doubt has the best cue for the buck. Not only for his great attention to detail, but the playability of his cues are as good as you will find anywhere.

Are you going to Valley Forge? You will have a great selection at all prices. You will also be able to try them out.

No I am not making it up to Valley Forge. But that is a great suggestion if I could get up there. I will be going to the Texas state tourney next weekend I will look around there. Not sure what cue makers will be there.
