It is Rick's player!

He teases me with it. I am considering buying it. I offered to show it off. It is about the prettiest cue he has shown me. I like the beautiful wood grains and colors. I almost bought it yesterday. Tuition coming up for one of the girls this month mmeans no big cues for the collection this week.

Ricks personal players are good ones for sure, I still have one and its no exception. He made me a snakewood cue a few years ago that had some really nice wood in it.

I got a chance to hit a couple with it and it is a monster who ever gets it will be more than pleased

Any time I can help I do. That includes you Mr Chris.

If you PM and need something I can help with I will. I am glad for you that you were able to talk Rick out of that player Steve. It will open alot of eyes in the North East.
You are very lucky to have Rick's personal Cue!
Congrats. Do pictures that put mine to shame!

Hey come on now Chris,, just cause you all had words in the cue of the year thread doesn't mean Nicks a bad guy. He was helpful to me twice this year and actually appreciate it ;) he really does mean well imo

Him and I have butted heads in the past, but no one in life see eye to eye 100% it's good to have differences ya know. His typing just get taken outta context he does mean well

Chris will let you know how it plays I'm sure it's lights out heard nothing but 110% positive feedback from everyone who owns one of his cues

Words do not bother me Steve. Calling me out on a $20,000 bet is another story. When he did I replied with challenging him to a spelling bee or comparing finances. A friend sent me a PM saying that was out of character for me. It definitely was. I think you know that as well.

The main problem I had with it was the fact of challenging me in pool. That was in reply to him calling out mia to having a conversation over a cup of coffee. I posted that he skipped over what I said and answered mia. That was after he challeneged me to set of 9-ball, 20 ahead for a $1,000 per set and freezing $20,000. Where the fvck is he going to get that kind of money? Ask Eric or Steve? I have that kind of money but not to bet on a stupid game of pool. I have a wife and twin 3 year old boys and a full time career. My house and family is where my money goes. Pool and pool cues is my distraction from every day life. In no way do I mean I am wealthy but I am not eating Ramen noodles either.

My issue with Nick was iniatially his inability to communicate about helping me with my Searing. I understood it as he wanted to buy the cue. He never denied it in the thread. Then another friend explained that I was reading too much into it and I apologized to Nick publicly.

Then there is that Cochran cue that is for sale. He tramples that thread saying the cue is damaged. THEN he offers a trade (which the OP specified he did not want) and $1,000. Which is it? Is the cue damaged or does he want it? Why offer a trade + cash for a damaged cue unless he is full of $hit?

Steve, we have come to know each other pretty good over that last year. I think you know I am not a mean person. I am opinionated but I am not mean or cruel. Nick must have some sort of worth because he and I have common friends.

BTW that is really nice cue,
Chris

I have to say I never offered this cue for sale.

I was at Rick's and wanted to show the Cue because I thought it was pretty. Rick was taken aback and offered it to me. It is his player and I was suprised. Steve PMed me and I suggested calling Rick.
