Improved design compared to the original design by A2z. The blade a2z sells or a similar 1/2 x 1/16 blade must be used in this holder although a slightly thicker blade might fit as well. Shown with my 1/16" empire parting blade.

Tool holders are almost identical to the a2z counterparts that they sell with their tool post. I have improved the tolerances slightly to provide a more snug fit on the dovetail. Tighter fit means better repeatability and less chance of the tool moving while clamped in the post.

I have over 20 of these on hand.

Empire brand US Made cobalt parting blades. 1/16" thick x 5 1/2" long x 1/2" tall. These fit the A2z and My cutoff holders. These are so long that you could cut them in half and make two.

Grizzly lathe

I have a grizzly lathe with a 250-202 tool holder size. Do you ever make any holders that would fit that lathe?

Preston's tool holders for the A2Z style toolpost are fantastic, I just sent payment for my second order and I think they fit the post better than the originals. Very high quality work here and I can't wait to see what his cues look and hit like.--Leonard
 
I recieved the second batch including Prestons new cut off blade holder and one of his cut off blades and they work great. The cut off blade holder is a lot better made and holds the blade very solid. Thanks again Preston--Leonard
