D. Appleton and C. Bryant, what went down?

they got in a tiff the 2nd to last rack, I believe, where Darren warned Bryant about his shirt when he went down on a shot and that it may touch the ball. He tried to make sure it didn't then it ended up touching it and moving it according to the commentators and Darren called him out and they argued, and the tournament director came over and layed down the law.

Bryant won

Is it just me or does Charlie seem to get into A LOT of arguments? I'm no Mika I fan, but Charlie was trying to shark him non-stop in the Fatboy Challenge.

Charlie is known for wearing loose fitting silk shirts and does not tuck them in. He has been known to be a little "short tempered" and probably wouldn't be someone that you would want to tangle with.........

here's what happened

[just posted this in another thread...]

Bryant and Appleton were at the back end of a long and really tough match; they started at 10:30 and finished up at 1:45 AM, with Bryant winning 10-8. Charlie was getting down over a ball, wearing a large and loose hawaiian style shirt, which apparently first brushed/touched a ball; with perfect timing to screw up the shoot, Appleton spoke up [audible to the crowd, which by that time was about 5 people] and said "you moved the ball." Charlie said, "no way my shirt moved the ball, and it ain't a foul anyway", and got down to shoot again. As he was about to stroke, Appleton, again with timing, said "now you moved the nine ball" [first time it was the seven I think] and Bryant told him to quit running his mouth while he was trying to shoot, to which Appleton replied, "I can't help it if you've got a fat belly" and they were off to the races, until Frank came over and stopped it.
Appleton had hung a few balls, and was trying to come back from being down 7-2, and everyone was tired. Several of the 10:30 matches didn't start until 11:30 and were finished long before this one. Long day, large money on the line, tired players, short fuses, great drama, and another great shark attack.....
They [sort of] kissed and made up at the end of the match... Appleton seemed to apologize and Bryant seemed to accept it.....
