D1 scholarships for “Cornhole”!

It's not pool related. Yes, some pool fans are jealous of the way Cornhole has grown as a sport, but the wiser among us are inspired and realize that it has been developed well and marketed well. Congrats to all the folks at Cornhole and wishing you continued success. Pool can enjoy similar success at some point.

Can't wait to see you "sweating" some sweet sweet courtside Professional Pickleball seats with that overly positive fringe sports outlook!

I'd much rather play Whiffle Golf. Played in a bar event in Pueblo last year. They have a huge dance floor, they put in MANY corn set ups, one in particular was surprising. It was four feet away from the foot of the table, r/s corner pocket.

But the noise, inside with poor acoustical set up, and all those 6-8 bag throwers each round, they were quite loud in this concrete walled building.

Yep, marketing 101. Whoever's running the CH pr program is a genius. PickleBall is quickly becoming the next to go ballistic.

I'd dare say Pickleball has already become the "next." Going into 2021 the 5-year average growth rate was the highest of any sporting activity in the United States, and based purely on my anecdotal observations in my region - I'm assuming analyses of more recent years will begin to emerge showing similar growth (USA Pickleball shows a 15% growth rate in 2023, higher than the 2016-2020 11.5% avg growth rate of the overall population, but it doesn't attempt to extrapolate to that larger playing population which could differ significantly).

Main reason, it's very social, outdoors...... where age and experience, like pool usually win.
Now some picklers' tho get ''clannish'' and do not want you in their group.
It's personal prejudice, which we see alotl of here in Fremont County with Supermax and 15 other jails in the canyon.
Jail workers mindsets are NOT always normal.
There like Rounders in a large pool room, always questioning and not believing what ever is coming outta your mouth.

I remember a Beavis and Butthead cartoon. Beavis drank a bunch of coffee or energy drinks or got some meth and od'ed and became "Cornholio" .
Pretty funny .
