Dale's Cajun Cue

So what is Cajun about it? Not knocking it. Really nice looking, but curious as to why it is a "Cajun Cue"?

Scott,

Dale lived in the New Orleans region for many years.

The Fleur De Lis is a traditional French/English Design element and is the Logo for the Saints.

Gorgeous! The forearm had me fooled! I thought it was straight-grained maple...but was corrected by the artist...it's a great piece of yellowheart! ;)

cajun cue

Hi Rick, It looks absolutely perfect, just what I wanted and ordered, after I play with it I will comment on playability. Great work. Dale

Congrats Dale to a very nice cue, I trust you will enjoy it as I do mine. Perfect execution:smile:.

Nice build Rick!

Thank you Chris.

Perfect is not something that I have figured out yet and don't think is possible to the most critical eye, "me".

There are a handful of cue makers out there that I feel get pretty close to the perfect ideal as a standard. They give guys like me something to shoot for.

If it was easy it would be boring and would not be so satisfying of a craft. You can always raise the bar expectation. That's what brings the challenge and makes it so fun and interesting.

Nice work Rick

Nice work Rick I was not sure if I liked the combo of the yellow heart. It turned out great I think that the yellow heart makes the cue. Super nice finish I bet the new owner loves it. Zig..

Everyone who lives in this state knows New Orleans area is Creole ;) Cajun is further west :p

But all in all that is a nice cue!
