Well, it's getting closer to the 9th. of Oct., and were getting set up to have the biggest one pocket tournament in yeeeears. We will be set up around the 6th. of Oct. at our website at www.pool-action.com for anyone that wants to take a sneak preview of what they will be watching. The tournament will be played on 6 Diamond Smart tables, with 6 cameras on the three feature tables. We have the best one pocket players in the world committed to play in this event. I will personally be talking with Reyes and Bustamante today for a possible commitment. The following list are the committed players. Cliff Joyner,Scott Frost,Jeremy Jones,Tony Chohan,Gabe Owen,David Matlock,James Walden,Jose Parica,Sylva Ochoa,Steve Smith,John Drew,Ike Rennels,Bill Incardona, and still counting. Anyone interested in playing in the tournament can call Diamonds and talk to either Zack or Dean.214-341-5200.

We will be posting the starting times at a later time on our website. There will also be player interviews during the tournament. If you like onepocket you can't afford to miss the action.

Great music with the video. Looks like a great place. Wish I lived closer to Texas.

Billy,

First, good luck in the tournament and thanks for streaming the action fom your room. It was fun watching you and CJ playing yesterday. Are you guys going to do anything to try and stop the choppy streaming video. It looks like everyone is moving in slow motion.

Anyone,

Are others having issues with the streaming video from Diamonds Billiards being a bit choppy?

Thanks and Take Care

Thanks for sharing the action with us, Billy. I appreciate your efforts and I look forward to seeing how your stream develops into the future. From what I've seen so far, it looks like it will be a first class operation...which seems to be a habit for you. First class commentator, first class room owner...

Billy I,
I would suggest making the streams pay per view with the ability to hop from table to table. This has never been done before in pool to my knowledge, and it might generate some revenue for Diamonds/Tournament. I know there will be people here saying that you should keep it free but realistically, you cannot stream video out for free unless there is a sufficient mass of viewers available that would allow you to make up for the costs of streaming through advertising.

An event streamed for free will likely have it running extremely slow or crushed to non existent because of too many simultaneous users. This is going to be a great event and people watching it shouldn't have a hard time understanding that great entertainment costs money.
