Danny Medina update

Even recently, Danny is a threat on a pool table. His style is fearless, and he is very entertaining. He's liable to make any shot from anywhere. His stroke is so powerful he can move the cue ball as many rails as he wants. He's also a very cool guy to talk to. His stories are outrageous, but knowing Danny you know they're true. He is a legend, and I wish him all the best.
 
All I can really say is God Bless ya Dan, Hope that we can get together & shoot again sometime. A rematch would be great.
 
Just have to say this after reading all the great get wells and a few cool stories about danny like most I have some i could share....we all know what a wild character and wild talent Danny has been in his life....no doubt some would not be impressed with some of his life choices....but he gets to deal with the creator on all that in his own terms....for him that would probably be the 8 ball and he breaks...lol....a mutual friend of ours recently visited Danny and it is a little heart wrenching that he is in a bad situation in life forget the cancer....in a nutshell he is on hard times....really hard!!! My buddy and I live too far away but some sort of fund raiser in the form of say a devotional tourney or such could mean so much to Danny and family right now....not to mention starting something of that sort is only fitting for a true legend of the game...personal feelings put aside he is a true legend of pool despite all else and as players and lovers of the game I think it is a necessary thing....of course Danny wouldn't ask but I will....any donations could desperately be used and someone in the Denver area has got to be able to organize a benefit/future memorial for him....not only is it the right thing in this spot it could become a great traditional event for the Denver area....just my opinion.....I know someone has the means to facilitate such an event and pay proper respects to him as a pool player....IMHO....THANKS FOR READING
