Pulling for Danny but he sure shoots some crazy shots , let Darren right back in the game. In game 3 he had 6 balls to Darren needing 8 plus owning a ball, shot a dumb shot, that even I know you shouldn't shoot, and let Darren win the game. Hope he thinks about this overnight and pulls this match out.--Smitty
Is it close or is Danny really in command and sometimes just gets outshot by Daz? Who is moving better?

Bart said danny was scared to shoot at his hole, that's not the D smith I know. I honestly expected Danny to move better, but figure firepower and patience from Daz would be tough to fade. Definitely ain't no walk in the park for Daz.
What are the play conditions like? Is Daz comfortable with the extreme humidity, and is the a/c working as expected?
Extreme Humidity? It's around 50% humidity right now, I wouldn't call that extreme. Come down to Louisiana in June and you'd wish it was 50% :grin: Lacy's Cue is fully air conditioned and not very humid inside. If Daz could play in the Philippines, then Louisiana is a walk in the park.
I believe Chris was joking. I think he meant Danny could move a little more and shoot less crazy shots. Just my opinion of course.
Last I heard Danny was up 3 to end the night. Is that right? Anybody know? I still like Darren in the long run I think.
Daz is showing great cueball control as usual, Daz hasnt played 1p since the chip match so is still alittle rusty. Danny also has great control over whitey
with nice two rail kicks out of the stack to leave Darren under his balls. The moving from what I remember, Darren can put the cueball anywhere but Danny knows more moves. Danny looked to be frustrating daz alittle, The moving dosnt last long though because Danny fires at his hole like an automatic rocketlauncher. He made so many sick banks from spots and situations that you normally don't see people firing from. For alittle while Daz looked like he was trying Play Danny game.

this match is a lot like Darren and Chips match to me seems like Darren
is not really a 1 pocket player with bad shot selection but his ball pocketing
ability keeps him in the games Danny shoots at any and everything and has been making
most of them so far should be very interesting day 2 in the match with Chip Darren looked like
a complete different player on day 2 and he beat chip 8 games in a row for the win

Danny had a frustrating day before the match started. i think today will be much different. When it comes to 1 pocket, I believe Darren is outclassed in this match. he spent so much time staring at the table last night! he appeared to be lost and bewidered! If Danny tightens up his game just a little today, I don't think Darren stands a chance.
