Some new chucks soon to be avaulable.. we are upgrading these chucks in 2 ways 1) we are incorperating a adjustable feature and also adding piviting delrin jaws today after a minor setback from a supplier, due in part to a certin someone who knows who they are. There
trying stop us from building cue repair equiptment by trying cut off our supplier, nice try but in less then a week I will be producing an even a better chuck with even better optons at a cost of a few dollars more . lets see then what happens!!! i will make these chucks , and any parts we make available to anyone wanting to buy them competion doesnt scare me in the least I ove it makes me work even harder when I get pusded I push back harder.there a few competitors trying to give us a hard time. well so be it I dont cower to someonehat thinks they can intimadate me. trying to cut off my chuck supplier no problem! we will make them ourselfs . our new cue lathe will not only be better, it will be much cheaper then the competion reason why?? well i am building them in my own shop no middle man to compete with i pass the savings on to you the customer we will post some pictures of the lathe tomorrow evening you be the judge thanks ...Lee

Damn, looks like a dovetail headstock/spindle.
You gonna have a steady rest with that too Lee?

No one is trying to stop you from building anything. I only think when someone agrees they will not sell items that they build exclusively for you, then they need to honor that agreement. You could have bought the chucks from me and still can, but I would expect to make a profit just like you plan to on your chucks. Good luck with your new venture. You are in for a lot of fun and a lot of headaches. As this lathe business has brought a lot of both to me. Wish you well.

I'm interested in seeing pictures of the pivoting jaws. I had this same idea 5 years ago of adding pivoting delrin jaws to chucks, so there would be no need for delrin collets, and the jaw would always be flat on the tapered surface of the cue. I concluded two chucks would defintely be needed to keep the cue straight. The idea never went beyond a napkin sketch in my case. I'm curious to see how you excecuted your design. Thanks.
