I am not gonna go. I am gonna kinda lay low this summer and slow down on the pool for a bit. I may play a tournament if it comes to Knoxville but I don't think I am going to travel anymore til fall. If something comes to atlanta around Aug or Sep I may hit it. Do you ever get up to Atl?

Alright.......I think I am closing the ol' window. Thanks to everyone that is giving action and GL.

I will post as I get updates later.

Yeah, occasionally, but only for the biggest of events. I'm gonna adopt the Grady Principal and demand that my admission be paid from now on though.

If the game truly is even one pocket, I'll take Chohan for $50 as well... someone post up if interested...

All parties are present and accounted for and the action should commence soon. Greg Sullivan drove down to sweat this match as well as quite a few others.

I will post as I hear whats up.

I like shannon in any game they play!:D
Is tony stwart going to be there I know him and shannon are friends?:D

Damn...If I had only had internet access, I would have stayed in town for this match. I like Shannon if they're playing one hole.

Somebody duct tape a camera on the light if you have too...I've been wanting to see this match for awhile now.

I couldn't predict a winner right now. Shannon is a one pocket legend to me after all he has won but that was then and this is now...Tony seems to be one of the top 3 or four players in the country at the game right now.

I still have to think that Shannon should win based on him winning 4 Legends of One Pocket events or however he's won by now, but he just doesn't seem to scare people like he used to. SD banks like God though, so I'd still have to put my money on him if its even.

I can't imagine SD getting ANY weight from Tony. I'd have a hard time believing Shannon wanted weight from anyone other than Efren and maybe Cliff or Gabe (Gabe hasn't accomplished as much at one hole but is a great all-round player who competes more than Shannon lately.)

Corey might beat them all if he just beat Frost.

Yes please. All it takes is a cheap webcam and a laptop with Internet. Then just signup for Justin.tv or Ustream.tv and post the link. I'll pay $$ to watch.

No need for a camera.........it is over. Tony pulled it out with what I was told were some amazing shots. It was back and forth for the first couple hours then Tony went on a tear and made everything he shot at for an hour. They are talking about playing again right now.

Anyone I bet with can PM me their paypal info and I will take care of it.

I would just like to take this moment to say thank you for no one taking my bet.....WHEW!!!!! :D

Has any US player accomplished half as much as Shannon in one pocket overall? I know Cliff is a monster but Shannon has won a bunch of major tourneys against the best players in the world.

Does Tony know enough about moving that it becomes just a match of who's pocketing balls better at this point? I've always wanted to believe that one pocket was complex enough that movers could compete with even the top shooters.

In the end, it seems just plain pocketing balls will get you farther than 10 years of study. Rempe even admitted he won the Johnson City one pocket tourney by shooting the wrong shot, but almost always making it.

My mind just can't accept the fact that a guy with the talent of Shannon at all games can't find a way to win against guys like Tony who play fantastic, but haven't won numerous major titles like SD. Shannon used to pocket balls as well as anyone.

I just talked to Shannon about it and he said that Tony played perfect. He made shots that were 25% shots and got out. it was a completely offensive game on a very tight table. Shannon said he played one questionable shot when he kicked at his out ball with TC needing 5 and he lost that game but other than that he played the right shots and lost anyway.

Shannon offered to play him 2 sets of 10 ball (one on the big table and one on a barbox) immediately after the set was over for 5 dimes each set but TC said NO. Tony hit the door and said he would THINK about playing some more 1P tomorrow.

Tony is a tremendous 1P player and is obviously capable of beating anyone on a given day but I like SD in the long run........but that is just me. I will empty out if they play any game other than 1P because I don't think Tony can beat him playing 10 ball or banks right now. I viewed the 1P as a pretty even game and I knew there was a chance Tony would win but that is why they call it gambling.

Believe me Tony can move with ANYBODY. In a LOOOOONNNNNNNG set I would take SD, because he is probably more consistent. Tony is still a somewhat streaky player but when he's on (like tonight) he is the most exciting player in pool. If they play again the same game, it's Tony again. Tony played J Walden 2 1/2 yrs. ago one pocket in Sac. 1p, 5 ahead and blew him off the table. Walden walked out not believeing what happened.

Tony beat someone in a race to 3 at one pocket in like 10 minutes at on of the Hard Times (Sacramento) jamboree events. He is definately scary when he's on. He's young as hell, too.

I just learned pool at the same time Shannon came on the scene and was a one pocket phenom. He'll always be a champ to me. I'd die a happy man winning just one of the Legends events, much less 3 or 4.

I don't think Tony will be challenging SD to an all round with banks, 1-P, and one pocket any time soon. Shannon is one the best all-round players of the last 20 years.

T-Rex is a rapidly rising star in the pool universe. And he can play ALL games! He is just now starting to play the tournament scene regularly. A major league player and a threat to beat anyone at One Hole right now. I include Cliff and Scott on that list.

Shannon may be a bit rusty, while Tony has been chasing action for a year or more. Shannon has been pre-occupied establishing his Great Southern pool tour.

I agree 100%! I have known SD for 20 years. He hasn't been in action. Let SD stay in steady action for two or three weeks. It would be a different outcome. IMO
