Davis blank Cue in Progress

Here is a very nice Davis blank I am putting together for a fellow AZer. Just thought I would share.
It will get a matching Lizard wrap and I still have to put the collars together. The cue is just in sealer and final sanding has yet to be done.

where is the finger splice at the "A" joint?

did you cut the blank in half?

It has to have been cut, or the spliced handle was turned into a core. No other way to get that ring in there above the wrap.

Yes, The original had some issues , so a change was needed to correct it.
