This is a new Davis-Prince full splice cue with a cocobolo forearm and moabi handle. The cue is inlaid in the handle with ebony and cocobolo inlays and ebony inlays in the points and at the butt end of the cue. The joint and hoppe ring are elforyn. This cue has our double joint on the butt and no joint collars on the shafts, but the shafts are inserted with phenolic. Thanks for looking.

Davis f/s with the coolest inlay design ive seen in a while! I like how the butt has all the joint rings. Excellent. $uper duper.

tim very nice....thanks again for posting some of your cues coming out of the shop....

The cues that John Davis and I are doing together have a double joint on the butt and no trim collars on the shaft, but when the cue is screwed together it appears to have collars on the shaft, a brown phenolic ring, then the white joint, then another brown phenolic ring (which would appear to be the shaft collar). This makes it easier to add an after market shaft without having to send the cue back to have the rings matched. This cue doesn't have inlays in the the phenolic collars like most of our collars do, but when the collars are inlaid it also keeps the inlays perfectly lined up like in the cue pictured below. the shafts have a phenolic insert for strength inside. I hope this helps explain the joint a little better.
