I think he speaks it good enough when it comes to pool, including its terminology and all. Communication is much more precise and these players meet so often at the Eurotour that they are probably good friends as he seems like a nice guy. Dont think it is much of an issue.
 
Gray breaks wet in rack seven, but Darren is jacked up. Hits an amazing shot to get to the two ball and Europe should be out ... And they are.

Nah. Once you get used to someone's accent it doesn't get in the way much. Also, it allows for some good-natured ribbing which is also key for team cohesiveness.

I played for over a year in Cyprus and had no problems...the language isn't that hard. I'll bet Nick's English is better than my Greek.
 
Good call by the referee, I support Europe and like some cheering over silence. But you should know when to shut up.
 
Deuel breaks wet and Shane has an easy combo. Corey leaves Shane tough on the four and Shane Overcuts it by a mile. Tough out for Europe, and Appleton opts for a safety on the five. Deuel hits it, but sells out the ,five. Europe runs out and we have our first double hill match of the 2014 Mosconi Cup.

Amazing shot by SvB with such pressure and a fail with the timer... USA took this match and deserved it.
 
Darren breaks at double hill. Wet break and he leaves Gray a good look at the two. Layout is tricky and the key shot wil be the three. Darren goes wrong and Gray is hooked on the four and leaves Team USA a shot, but it is a long one.

Want a shot by Shane! Should be a match winner.

What a tremendous shot hill hill under pressure! Even though Shane has mostly been playing his B game that shot was clutch. Wow!
 
Good job winning the last set. down 6-4 is a whole lot more breathing room than 7-3.
