Day 2 Mosconi Matches in Progress Coverage

Wow we needed that point so bad. Darren is human after all. totally needed a break and got it. Let's go USA!
 
I thought Corey actually looked a little better that last match. His hands weren't shaking quite as bad and I think he's settled down a hair.
 
Europe fans are disgraceful the way the carry on while players are shooting. Ref should be giving ball in hand to the players rather than resetting the shot clock at this point.
Last year in Vegas the fans were loud between games/matches which was great. Here fans are constantly whooping during USA innings when they perceive a player to miss shape or come up short. It is incredibly disrespectful.
 
Whether USA or Europe wins, we really need to cherish this event right now. Everyone is playing hard, awesome production, and streaming on ESPN? Can't ask for anything else.
 
Good match with some key shots bt both players.

I wish the commentators would talk less. Just a bunch of useless cliches and obvious descriptions. Not to mention the commentator jinx. Sorry no offense.

I'm sorry but I just can't get over how many calls Jerry keeps getting wrong. He needs to give up on predicting the next shot.

They don't think so , they have the soccer match mentality I'm more than sure Mark knew it and pick his team with that in mind

Usa should feel pretty good about where they're at right now. Especially with Shane playing well below his usual speed. You have to think he will start to pick up his play. This match could easily be 5-5 right now. If bergman hadn't scratched in the side he would have been up 4-2. I would love to see bergman and hall paired up again tomorrow. It will definitely be interesting to see the line up for tomorrow.
 
Does anyone know the format tomorrow? Will there be two singles matches and three doubles matches or will it be the other way around?

I heard from announcers it will be 3 singles and 2 double matches.

On a side note; All AZ'rs need to send email to ESPN and let them know what a great job they are doing. I love the camera angles on the shots, and the way they "get low" on the cue-to-ball camera view is awesome.

I actually believe that this is where coaching will actually come into play...Mark Wilson chose soldiers that will respond to instruction/correction. You see a total 180 on attitude from the get go, no chirping, no antics, just focus on the game and respect for the team, the opponent and the crowd. They tried to bait Justin to complain about the crowd during the post match interview, and he only complimented them. I mean, come on, they've been using radar guns to verify speed for stun shots and draw shots from all distances all year long. I doubt any American team has spent more energy getting prepared than this one.
