Heading to Daytona for a few days. Where should I play? It seems that Waldo's, Pool & Brew, or Browns are the main options. Where's the not too expensive action? Say $10-20 games or $50-100 sets? Also where might the real fish swim if I wanna be a real thief Er....I mean hustler? Best tables if I decide I'm gonna be a NIT and just practice or drink Wild Turkey and smoke some cigars? Thanks ahead.

Pool near Daytona

Browns is the place to play according to the locals. However, action is hard to come by unless you call ahead and tell the bar tender you are looking for action. I go there when I visit my parents once a year. They have GC 9'. Mostly in good shape but some are not up kept well. Depends if you get there after some are recovered. Last two time I went there was no action only league players. Most say action is hard to find these days in the Daytona area. Just bad timing for me last time.

Thanks. I'll check it out first. Doubt I'll call ahead though. I might end up with a tough steak to chew.

Vero..................

I know its a couple hrs. south but Cunningham's in VeroBeach has some action. Guy named Mark Coats plays out of there and he'll give you a game. He's good but not a champion-speed player. Good guy to boot.

I am 30 minutes North of Daytona in Palm Coast.

This is our local pool hall, Cue Note. Nice place, I try to get there once a week. I will be there Sunday when they open. They have live jazz on Sunday.

I don't know about action, and I am not really familiar with the pool halls South of me in Daytona.

Cue Note has nice Gold Crowns, and a "reserved table" with new tournament blue cloth.

Full bar and decent food as well, no smoking. But there is outdoor seating to enjoy your cigar.

Dirtona action…….

Send me a pm with your contact info. I live here and play as well as smoke cigars. Doc

Clicks North in Orlando will give you $5-$100 action if the right people are there, about a hour from Daytona lots of one pocket action. Good luck.
