You obviously dont know Danny very well. From the sound of it, sounds like you have had the Harriman hurt put on you in the past and are still suffering from sour grapes ( which turns into "whine").

Danny doesn't ask people to stake him. 95% of the time people approach him. To educate you of your ignorant comments I will let you know this is what happened here. A lead to a stakehorse was given to Danny, they had a discussion, Danny assumed after the discussion this person was going to contact Grady and pay for entry into the ring game.

Not untill Grady made a post on here of the entrants did we realize this guy never contacted Grady. Danny thought it was already a done deal and was shocked to find out he was not entered.

Why is it you havent b!tched about John Schmidt, Larry Nevel, or Sara Rousey coming on here and actually asking for sponsorship? (Which I dont have a problem with BTW) Yet Danny has not made such a post on here.

If Danny was to actually ask for backing I know there are many that would step up to the plate. How do I know? Because he gets offers from people here on AZ without him even asking.

FYI many of the top players wont participate in these forums due to people exactly like you. They make a comment and jerks like you do nothing but chastize them. I dont blame them for not participating, why should they? They all have a big enough frustration of having reached the upper echelon of their sport and not having an organization founded to compensate their efforts as they should be.

So in closing, why dont you make like that snowball and go melt.

Also remember for a player to get staked it is not always so easy as it sounds. Their has to be a mutual trust between both parties so that the verbal agreement is held up. If I was a player I wouldn't just let anyone stake me. I have seen many a stakehorse accuse a player of dumping or argue about the cut of the money afterwards and try to change the agreement. A player coming on here asking for a stake is taking a big risk that he will be dealing with someone of character. What is the over/under on how long before "9balltrain" is banned? I spent too much at Christmas and I need to make some quick cash.

Who needs money when you got the Brazilian nuts.....:D Play even and then adjust so he can actually have money to shoot at you when it is a gamble. :p Personally I'd take the breaks and ball in hand from Danny on a 4x8 gandy with huge pockets......:D j/k Danny. I love to watch you play and don't let these prikcs get to you. I really do hope you win in the ring game. I have alot of respect for Danny's playing ability, he is a great player. I have respect for all pool players as its so tough to make it. As someone who has been a stake horse and play alittle myself, I just can't see myself asking to get staked. Sorry if some of you disagree with my opinion, didnt mean to offend anyone.

9balltrain---like Danny, I am from Missouri. Care to tell your name. And how did you become a stakehorse without someone asking you to stake them? Who in Missouri have you staked?
