Deal gone Bad - Greg Jacklin (GWJacklin) aka Greg Jacklin

I know Greg, and he is an okay guy in my book. He loves pool just like all of us here. He has some serious health issues, which it would appear sent him to the hospital. Everyone who has experienced a traumatic incident with their health understands that everything takes a back seat...sometimes for weeks or months. I'm sure you'll get your stuff, whatever it is. Try to be a little more patient. He just moved from Minot ND to Phoenix in the past month or two.

after calling about 15 times today he finally answered the phone (my guess is he got wind of it through azb)

and send me a non-working tracking number. He claims he has been in the hospital since friday....which I hope is true although I hate that he was in the hospital.

Will update when I get the cue. VERY poor communication.

Nice Guy

Greg gave me some good pointers in pool and he always seemed true to himself. I had a few dealings (buying and selling) with him and they all went good. His I-trader was also good.

I feel your pain in not getting what u ordered yet, and no it isn't right. I am sure it pains Greg for a sale not to go right.

I hope his health issues come out ok.

i figured i would bump this since i finally have a chance.

Max you my friend are an immature pompous. By no means did i ever screw you over. You paid for the cue then called me the next day and said you wanted the case and would send more money which i never got. Money is not the issue here. I came down with a severe case of the flu that affected my nervous system. The last thing on my mind was a cue. I do not like the fact that you would call me 40 to 60 times a day leaving me some of the most vulgar voice mails i have ever got in my life. sending me text after text. I will come visit you next time i see my folks. I have never and will never screw someone. People i have chose not to do business with is for my own reasons. and for those that bring up the shooting star classic that was a year ago call me and you will see just how two faced it was ran. But i guess in the end you know who you can trust.

Max i am going to send you some diapers and tissues so maybe you will stop being such a little brat.

fast lenny you have not met me yet because with school and work i am very busy for at least another year but we will have a beer one day.

if anyone else would like to take a crack at me as a person lets meet in real life and stop being such an internet tough man.

for those that know me well. thank you and god bless.

You agreed to ship the cue as soon as the instant transfer was completed, which you said would be the same day or following day. Had you taken thirty seconds to write an email or respond to one of my many text messages there would have been no problems.

I could care less about retaliatory feedback, which you left on the deal. I had actually considered retracting my negative feedback once I get the cue if the cue was in good shape but that is probably out the window.

For anyone that cares.

I received the cue today via UPS in excellent condition. I am very pleased overall with the cue. Its a shame the seller could not have handled this transaction better.

Too bad this transaction took the course it did. Both the seller and buyer seem to be stand-up guys. Since this is a discussion board we all have a right to an opinion. Mine is that the seller caused the problems. He should have communicated better, period. The seller should not have given the buyer an Itrader negative. After all, the buyer did nothing wrong. It was lack of communication that got the seller his negative. And that's on him.

Plus, the seller shouldn't have made the vague threat about when they meet face to face. That's playground stuff.

Absolutely 100% correct. Either you deal straight up as advertised or you don't deal at all. I once shipped a cue after leaving the hospital following my grandmothers death. No excuse to take your misfortunes out on others. The negative rep is uncalled for. The seller paid. Absolute misuse of that feature.

You don't like 60 voice mails then pick up the phone or return a call. At least have someone communicate on your behalf.
