I'll tell you what makes a cue play good - THE PLAYER!!!

From my short experience of playing pool I came to an understanding that a player can adjust and get used to any cue with any specs and play a great game!
A good cue is a cue that is constructed well enough that keeps its characteristics for a long period of time.

You write kind of like Holden Caulfield.

This guy is trying to sell cues, and he's afraid they are so average (or even ugly?) that they won't sell with pics. But if an unknown guy like this manages to sell a bunch of cues for as much as he's asking, admitting he doesn't even know what makes his cues play one way or another, to a bunch of guys who know little about cues, then more power to him, and if I were him I'd keep mixing up the Kool-aid.

Hey, someone sold chia pets and someone else sold pet rocks - I give the guy credit, but I'm not nuts enough to buy one. His logic that you should try his cue because it might make you play better is plain cuckoo - that's true of every cue on the planet, even cues made by cue-makers who really do know why their cues play the way they do, meaning they can make adjustments based on knowledge and skill, as opposed to toss it against the wall and hope it sticks.

Just my opinion.

Joey seems to be giving me a hard time,has anyone ever done business with him,or played pool with him?

I have been under the microscope for a week or two.Every buyer likes the cue so far.The biggest cue seller in America vouched for me ,and yet this Joey keeps talking as if he knew something,I wish he would tell us all what is bothering him.

Am I wrong in thinking maybe he is just lonely?Lets talk about Joey

boo hoo poor Joey seems to like hiding in the dark and criticizing things he seems to know nothing about?Why do these peole knock what they don't understand?

Oh and I never said they hit like a Searing,I never hit one,so I don't know if they hit this good or not.

i think joey can into the future what stocks should i invest in , who is the next president? seems you know all . his senses are.... is my shmelke gonna be a collector??

I've done business with him. Very easy.

He also makes one hell of a cue. Your great at marketing someone elses cues, he just designs and makes his own.

I have done business with Joey. He is a very very good cuemaker. I can't remember a time that he has been excessively boastful or misleading about his cues on this or other forums.... Judging from your posts I wouldn't choose to do business with you.

I'll take a cue made by JoeyinCali over a Deano any day.
