it does look like a verl horn cue which looked like ab old balabushka cue
that i had as well
difference was that george used mother of pearl not ivory
after all the fancy cues i have owned,i still like this style
the thing about this one is that bob made it,and it is becoming known
that bob makes one of the best hitting cues ever
i am getting excited waiting for this one,if anyone wants one like it.
i suggest you call bob.it wouldn't bother me if he made a few more
i enjoy seeing them

I am amazed how many people still like the old school cues,i know
that they are my favorites
Bob Owen is such a great cue maker.He often makes the new style cues'
tiny inlays,butterflys,floating,anything that anybody could want
but i still order the basic old school,most of the time,and he is kind
enough to make what i ask for

Lately people have favored lighter cues,but almost all of the older players liked
a little more weight and not without good reason
Eddie Taylor.Willie,Wimpy and even Johnny Archer won the US open with a schon weighing an ounce more than this
I have 3 Bob Owen new cues and I will be happy to sell either 2 and play the remaining
