Deano

I have no dog in fight, but the people crying loudest also did not buy.

If you want to talk to Deanoc, Joey, PM him.

Like I said I only had positive dealing with Deanoc like many others.
You are correct, I did not buy a Schmelke-pot from Deanoc. Why? Because I have hit with a Schmelke, not bad for the price tag. I refuse to pay double from a scam artist. I'm still waiting for an answer as to why you and HE continuously defend a fraud. Were you in bed with him? What was your cut of the shady profits?

The part I don't get is why you think the rapist has to put his d!ck in your a$$hole before before you are allowed to have any feelings one way or the other about rape.

The whole "if you weren't the victim you have no right to have an opinion about their actions" argument is literally the stupidest argument ever made in the history of humanity, glaringly ludicrous even on the surface, and yet for some reason we hear it all the time.
Imagine if a jury came back to the judge in a murder trial... "we think he killed his mother, but it wasn't our mother so it's really not our place to be involved...let him go"

You describe the moral gymnastics of the sociopath, bending however possible to never be wrong and always support their personal morality

I do not frequent AzBilliards Main Discussion Forum as often as I used to many moons ago. I have emigrated to Facebook for my pool-related information and social interactions with others for the most part. Most of the pool community has done so as well. I was reluctant at first and did not do so until, I think, 2015-ish.

That said, I was contacted by Deanoc a year or so ago, subject to check, to see if my other half, Keith McCready, would like a Jackpot cue for free. He was interested in what Keith thought about it. He sent it to Keith free of charge. I came on this forum to share the thoughts about the Jackpot cue, and of course, as is the norm on AzBilliards, much like this thread, it blew up into a flame thread. I was accused of things that were false, number one, and number two, I thought that thread and this thread here are examples of internet bullying. I can take the heat from the flames, but I felt very sad about how Deanoc was getting roasted.

I knew nothing about the cue's origin and Deanoc's statement about where the cues came from because, quite frankly, I was not reading AzBilliards Main Discussion Forum on a regular basis. I was out of the loop, so to speak. But I was accused of being a liar along with some other unflattering descriptive words.

My other half is working with a cuemaker today on a new line of cues. Seven or eight of them have already been sold. More have been ordered and are in the making. Somebody suggested he should post the news of these cues on AzBilliards, and I strongly advised against it, mainly because of threads like this. One person ignites a fire on AzBilliards, and soon the trolls, banned members posting, and anonymous people hiding behind their fake identity join in. Deanoc did kind deed, offering a free gift to Keith, and the whole thing turned to sh*t.

I'm sure this post will be slammed, but I'm just throwing in my 2 cents. I've never liked to read somebody getting beat up or slammed on the internet. It just hurts my heart. AzBilliards used to be a family of like-minded folks. We were all members of the Tribal Nation of Pool. Today it's the Wild Wild West sometimes.

A kind gesture, that a scammer turned into advertising, at your expense. If anyone said you had ulterior motives, that's pretty lame. Dean had the motives, and people apparently have blinders on.

Stupid story😁

Juries do that kind of stiff daily, because they do not follow judges instructions, they are prejudice.

Want to change World help old people, or single moms with home repairs,
Imagine you see an ad from a local auto dealership for a brand new Honda Accord for $30,000, and you really want a Honda Accord and you think that is a good deal. And so you contact them and tell then you want to buy it, and you pay them and all that good stuff, and they tell you they will finish getting the car ready and will deliver it to you at your house later that day. Later that day they deliver to you a brand new Chevy Spark that sells for only $15,000.

You also find out that they did this intentionally, it is not a mistake. This is what they had planned to do to you from the beginning. You also find out they did the exact same thing to a bunch of other people with that same advertisement too, where they sold a bunch of those real nice "Honda Accords" for $30.000, and got paid their $30,000, but then they only delivered a $15,000 Chevy Spark to all those people that paid for a $30.000 Honda Accord.

You really think this is ok? Because you have been arguing this is perfectly ok. This is exactly what Deanoc did. He advertised one thing, and then delivered something totally different and that was worth substantially less. You would be ok with that if they did that to you and would take some other car other than what you agreed to buy and that was worth a lot less than what you paid? No way in hell you or anybody else would be ok with that. You would be throwing a fit.

Now let's say you kind of liked the Chevy Spark they delivered to you. Does that now make it ok that they scammed you and made you pay $30.000 for a Honda Accord, but only delivered a $15,000 Chevy Spark instead? Because that is what you are also trying to argue, that as long as they like the cue that was delivered that makes everything ok even thought they paid for a totally different cue that was worth a lot more. As long as you kind of like that Chevy Spark they delivered to you then you should have no complaints even though you paid a lot more for something else entirely, but you have nothing to complain about, right? Is that really what you believe? Of course not, you would throw a fit if it happened to you. Nobody would put up with that and it is the stupidest argument ever so stop making it.

And once you busted their scam and threw a fit and confronted them, if they are willing to take the Chevy Spark back and refund all your money, does that make it ok that they tried to scam you? Does that make it ok that you had to deal with the time and aggravation and stress of the situation that you never should have had to deal with because of their attempted scam? Some have tried to make this argument too and it is stupid, like really stupid. Being willing to refund you if you at some point balk at their scam does not somehow make it ok that they tried to scam you.

It doesn't matter how much you like the cue or car they delivered, what matters is whether or not it is what you paid for (it wasn't), and in both cases it was something totally different that was worth less than half as much as you paid and they were trying to scam you, and that isn't acceptable even if they are willing to give you your money back if you catch on to the scam and complain about it.

I do not frequent AzBilliards Main Discussion Forum...

Then all you really know is that Dean was offering a free cue which was likely offered with the expectation of an endorsement to further his gain.

Great advice that you offered about suggesting that he put nothing on AZB about it. Most members will lambast him if he makes a profit or if he doesn't speak up about everyone who had a hand in designing, building, and marketing the cue.

Nice analogy, great job, you win the interweb for the day!!!! 👏👏👏 You must be so proud.

It's the whole Clinton-Lewinsky mentality all over again. "Geez, it was only a couple of blowjobs....and it was between consenting adults. What's the prob?"

Clinton eventually owned up to his transgressions. So not the perfect analogy, even by Cowboy standards.

Well Deanoc always took care of unhappy people.

As for your fictional Car dealer they are licensed by state, and the State takes out right fraud seriously.

BTW do you get a Jackpot from Deanoc, or ever deal with him.

I'm not going to defend what Dean did. He made a mistake and made it right to anyone that wanted their money back (I'm pretty sure).

Thinking back to my old poolroom, it would have been a pretty lonely place if we barred everyone who ever made a bad decision / mistake. I'm guessing this forum would be similarly lonely.

In fact, in the old days, if someone stiffed someone, they were barred from the poolroom until they made good. When they paid up, they were allowed to mingle with the rest of us imperfect misfits once again. I know a lot of those guys and I would still consider them friends.
