Earl last posted on this forum thirteen months ago, so it's unliklely he'll read your post. Still, he reamins a registered user of the forum.

hi jon, i consider you a friend since it is so hard to find another earl's fan. the odds is like making six balls on the break. it is just different when earl's in action isnt it? i have a suggestion, lets form an "Earl's Fan Club" and me being the captain you the co-captain. to work out the details we can PM each other. now, this definitely sounds good. however, we will have lots of enemies i can assure you that. but its ok, we take them all man, U.S. POWER!

Oh for crying out loud Kitty, here we go again with this he's every where, he's every where. Larry was driver maker, then God, they even said he was the silencer, how crazy were these, he was none of them. Every person who comes on this forum and begin running his mouth you think is him. If AZ does this, they like the rats they are will run over to play pool.com where most of them came from any way. There needs to be a trash board for the trash to trash talk to, az does not have to be it.

OK, then when I ignore someone, I should not see them. As it is now, when I ignore someone and they post, I still see it but instead of the text I get a message telling me I'm ignoring them and that's why I can't see their text. That's pretty lame, IMO. But then, what do I know? The purpose of a moderated group is to not have to deal with this stuff. If I want to see this I can just go to ASP, or unfilter all the fools from RSB. <big sigh> Oh well, life goes on. I guess I can live with it.

Your right Frank, you have to live with it. If somebody writes things I don't like, I don't have to read them, when I see their post I can scroll right by them and do. After a while, I never read anything the silencer posted, it was a waste of my time. If I don't read him, he can't aggravate me. It does take some mental discipline to do that. There is a sports writer in my newspaper I wont read either. I wont read Jewett or Fels in Billiards digest, for those same reasons. Choose who to just ignore. Read who you enjoy, be selective who you let into your head. Don't demand the forum to control it, you can control it for you. Ah, I am just a blind squirrel in search of a nut, when I make a ball it is by pure accident.

And yes, I see that an old friend is back under another name. I realize that he was banned for life from the board but I just don't feel like banning his new name just yet. As long as things stay under control, then we can all be one big happy family.
