Dechaine vs Shaw Updates?

Where does this put dechaine in mosconi cup points standings? A forth place finish should help him make the team. At Large? Need some statistical help

Dechaine had zero points after the first 4 points events (he went out in round 4 at the DCC 9-Ball and did not enter the 3 Bar Table Championships). A fourth-place finish at the SBE (a Category 2 event) gives him 13 points. But the two players in a 9th/10th-place points tie prior to the SBE had 14 points. So Dechaine's 4th-place finish at SBE will still leave him out of the top 10.

Dennis wins.

Thanks for the Live Update!
That was intense
How was the content of the game?
All fire power shooting? Some great safety exchanges?
Amazing Dennis pull this one off coming from behind most of the match after his earlier lead.

Man Shaw must be hearbroken. 11-7 lead at one point and to the hill first. That hurts

By my reckoning, the top 16 in the Mosconi Cup point standings after the SBE are as follows (I imagine Matchroom will be posting the official rankings soon):

T2. Scott Frost -- 30
4. Jeremy Sossei -- 29
5. Sky Woodward -- 25
6. Corey Deuel -- 24
7. Oscar Dominguez -- 19
8. Brian Deska -- 15
T9. Steve Knoll -- 14
T9. Danny Olson -- 14
T11. Mike Dechaine -- 13
T11. Joshua Roberts -- 13
T11 Alex Olinger -- 13
14. Brandon Shuff -- 12
15. Rodney Morris -- 10

What is it with jayson shaw great person great talent but everytime he loses a match excuses come pouring. My opponent got all the roles the ball skidded, the tables sucked blah blah blah. Can he ever just say he lost to the better player this time???

Might have been influenced by other player that does that often :grin-square:

This time he did lose to a better player. Jayson is a great player but he isn't the best yet! Dennis NEVER quits in a match, always believing he can pull it out somehow. And oftentimes he does! It's hard to get that last game on Dennis.

Wouldn't it be crazy to have Scott Frost in the Mosconi Cup!
