If you smell an electrical burning smell, stop trying to cypher it out, you can have spontanial conjuction like that.It kinda rang a bell and I'll leave it at that.
So that's what happened!! Been digging the ashes outta my ears for weeks!!If you smell an electrical burning smell, stop trying to cypher it out, you can have spontanial conjuction like that.

Is there a scan available online? Interested in reading this.I remember when Meucci's 'Crossing the Delaware catalog came out in '79. He talked about deflection and we were all like " WTF is he talking about?" He was aware of and trying to minimize it back then.
No clue. It was his first big color brochure. He talked about deflect. but didn't go into great detail. Basically what they did was lighten the front-end of the shaft by using really thin wall ferrules. It wasn't near the reduction that Predator got yrs later but Bob knew about it back then. https://www.discountpoolcues.com/meucci_originals.htm all i could findIs there a scan available online? WIt's called 'Throw' on a snooker table - and acknowledged it pretty early on.
We're just a bunch of Hoosiers roun' hea'.It's called 'Throw' on a snooker table - and acknowledged it pretty early on.
That was how I started.Back before I ever heard of push shots, or maybe they weren’t allowed then, we used to call deflection “push”. They’d say if you use left english you’ll push CB to right
Sounds like he knew his stuff!!2 yrs…..I was 16 1/2 yrs old……I played pool starting at 14 but couldn’t go to a pool hall unescorted
by a parent, guardian or another adult back in the 60’s in NYC. Once I turned 16 and started going to
different pool halls, and there was a lot of pool halls back in the 60’s, I learned about what was called
“squirt” back then which is a different term than swerve. My step dad started teaching me and before
he left for WWII, he hustled a lot on the Bowery growing up a young kid during tough times. 25 cents a
game was a lot for a young boy in the early 30’s. By the time he was in his late teens a $5 or $10 wager
became more common. He was the one that taught me cue elevation was the reason for swerve and it
also influences the amount of deflection along with stroke speed. He wanted me to keep the cue as flat
as possible is what he’d aways preach. Learn to master normal roll & delivering the cue ball straight before
you start dabbling with English. And remember that center ball and cue ball speed can win most matches.

Absolutely.Nmw what they say about Bob and his cues, he was a pioneer in this game.
I thought his early cues were good cues. Very solid hit, the ones I tried after the mid 80s all seemed to have a fit problem in the joint.Nmw what they say about Bob and his cues, he was a pioneer in this game.
