Anyone here close to Delaware? We are down to one Pool Room but it is one of the nicest I have ever seen. My friend Jimmy purchased it about 2 years ago and has done a remarkable job remodeling. It is called First State Billiards and has a combination of tables including Gabriels and Gold Crowns. Check it out.

It's in Dover, and it is a very nice place to play. Scott Lee gave me my lesson there on table 16 a tight Gabriel that is a joy to shoot on.
I used to get in there a couple times a week, but recently haven't been able to go as much. It would be nice if they had a liquor license.

True

It is a nice poo room... I live 45 minutes from there... I won a couple of those Monday Tournaments the few times i went up there... But it is a nice place... It also has good food.... Jimmy should look into having some bigger tournaments..... The place is nice.... You guys from Delaware should buzz down to my tournament in Cambridge, Maryland.. July 14-15. At Great Slates... Payouts are good.. You are only 45 minutes to an hour.

Delawho how often do you go in First State Billiards? What about Scott Lee? I used to play there 5 days a week with Stacy Sudler.

I was getting in there 3 or 4 times a week, but here lately it seems like once every couple of months. So much real world stuff going on makes it hard to dedicate the time to what amounts to a hobby, and most everyone I know and shoot with are APA people who'd rather shoot on a barbox... I play where the games are, so I am predominantly playing bar boxes...
Maybe we can get together an d shoot there one evening, I sent a reply to your PM

What is the address?
On travel, I am about 20 miles away and would love to have a place to stop into to play.

It is off of S. Little Creek RD in Dover. If you are on 113 S you'll take a left on S. Little Creek and go out about 2 miles. You'll make the right just before the overpass and then a quick left into the parking lot. You can see it from S. Little Creek Rd.

Address:
10 Maggies Way
Dover, DE
19901-4887
Phone: (302) 734-7665

They make some good chinese food there, but it's a tad pricey. There isn't a liquor license there, so if you must drink, bring a pocket bottle and be discrete
