Hello! A friend of mine has some Delta-13 racks for sale. He has the regular Delta-13 and also the Delta-13 Elite racks available. These were only used at a recent tournament that he ran. Honestly, these racks are so well made and durable, that they would still be in great condition if they were used for 100 tournaments. These are the best racks on the market!

He has black, red, and blue available in the regular Delta-13. These retail for $69.95. He is asking $45 shipped in the U.S.

'This ball rack is Precision Machined for a Better Break. It is made of a Solid Aluminum Cast Frame and weighs less than 16 ounces. It is Center-Marked for easy rack alignment and the ergonomic grip helps to remove the rack from the balls. This rack has a LIFETIME GUARANTEE against warping, bending, or splintering. You have not seen balls explode on the break until you use the DELTA-13.'

Ross, Can you tell us what is the differance between the too racks?

That's a good question. Maybe the Elite has more inlays and veneers.:grin-square: I do know that my friend said that the Elite is made of six piece. The regular is one piece. I really do not know the other differences. I will try and find out though.

Ok, just did some investigating and came across this on their website.

Q: What is the difference between the Delta-13 vs. the Delta-13 Elite
A: One piece solid cast aluminum vs. 6061 extruded aluminum with 6 pieces fastened by stainless steel screws

Durable powder coat baked at 450 degrees vs. anodized

No engraving possible but can be screen printed with logos vs. customized engraving

Center marks for table alignment vs. no center marks

is there any difference in racking the balls?in one pocket do the balls rack tight and quickly every time?
if so pm your address I will take the regular model in any color you choose

They both rack the same. I have to admit that I have not been playing much and have only used these racks a few times, but loved them. All I have ever heard about these racks is that they are the nuts.

I recently bought an Elite rack and it gives all other racks the orange crush!!!!

It is a little loud, but that doesn't bother me at all.

As long as your balls are in good shape (don't touch that one) the balls rack super tight.

Russ....

I have the regular model and it really does produce a good rack. The two big advantages is that it is a perfect triangle in terms of racking an entire set of pool balls tight to each other when pressed to the front; and being made of aluminum it will not flex from this position when you firm the balls up to the foot spot.

The only downside is that, like a lot of premium racks, it is a little oversized (not huge, just a little). For this reason I go to my cheaper plastic rack for dealing straight pool as it results in a few less 15th balls in the rack area behind the last row (of course, there is no difference in the footprint on the other two sides). Naturally, it is not as easy to get a tight cluster with the plastic rack and there's not much room to get your fingers dug in behind the last row, but I've made that trade off just for straight pool just so the rack area has a slightly smaller foot print. But the Delta is always handy if called upon to tighten a tough rack job. Then the cheapo can be held in reserve for use if there is a break ball close to the back of the rack area.

IMO the noise factor is a non-issue but I'm using it on my home table and I take good care of it. I don't throw balls into triangle at the foot rail and drag them to the spot but rather place them in the rack already positioned at the foot spot, so the noise really is not that much of an issue. I could see where it could get loud in a pool hall with 30 tables full of bangers on beer. :grin-square:

Great rack for just about everything else, including one hole and all grunt-break games, where getting a tight rack as easily as possible is really the only priority. And with the lifetime warranty you will never need to buy another.

Rossaroni, nice of you to help your friend move some product. Good luck.

Dude, what's your problem? No one is getting ripped off here. $45 is an excellent price for this rack. So, you scoured the internet and found a special deal that is all of a couple of bucks cheaper, now add $10 for shipping and perhaps sales tax on top of that. Rossaroni's deal may actually be cheaper after these are factored in but you don't know that. Pooldawg has the rack for $59.95, I suggest you email them and advise them to lower their prices. Why not start a thread letting everyone know what a rip off they are?

Bad form to come into a thread in the for sale forum and step on someone's deal over a couple of bucks-unless of course, you wouldn't mind someone doing that to you.

Thanks for warning everyone about the con Rossaroni is running, lol. How on earth did he ever get to page 1 on the rep list?

I did not mean to step on anybodies deal here! I thought I was helping... in order to buy something used (and a production item, not collectible) it has to be worth it.
Maybe it came out wrong, if that's the case then I apologize!

By the way, I missed the point that this price is including shipping, so it makes the deal look much better...

You should really only start posting after taking the morning Prozac...

I actually don't know that his deal includes shipping. All I'm saying is we don't know all the a factors. Also, a tournament used Delta is no big deal since they are indestructible and have a lifetime warranty. A Delta rack for $45 is worth it.

BTW, you are correct about not having taken my meds yet, only it is usually a couple of Advil with the morning coffee to stave off the inevitable headache the day at work will bring. :grin-square:

Sweet! Thanks for the info. It will really help my friend out. They may have been used for a few hours, but they still cheaper by a few dollars. Thanks again, and I am sure my friend appreciates it.:frown:

Btw, my friend is a dealer for Delta 13 racks and can only sell them for certain prices. He doesn't know how Seybert's can sell them for so low. He was asking a little more, then I told him about Seybert's and he lowered the price. Priority shipping on Seybert's on the regular rack is about $9, so the total is $49 shipped. $45 is not much cheaper, but that is the best he could do.

The blue Elites are all gone. There are still some black, gold, and 1 red Elites available. I do not know wheather all of their Elite racks now have this, but the Elites look like this. It says 'Official Rack of The UPA.' Do not think this matters too much, but thought I would let everyone know.

The regular racks do not have any other marking except the Delta-13.

Oh, since your friend is a dealer, how much can they sell the Q-lean for if you get a rack as well (since it could be tossed in the same box for shipping).

Thanks,
Brian

Each video only shows up at 26 seconds long for me... Are there full versions?

I think there are some full length videos on the Delta-13 website.

Also, he does not carry the Q-Leans-just the Delta-13 racks-sorry:frown:. He is more of a player representative for Delta-13/Delta-13 is a sponsor of his tournament.
