On a Chinese Table......Potts in a landslide any game, I would bet Appleton, Melling and Shaw to run over him in 8 ball and likely 9/10 ball also,
Alex is a push
that's a small group though,
as far as those who focus on American pool Dennis wins
Shorter shipping time than a new Diamond: http://www.joybilliards.com/product/joy-q3-pool-tableWhat's all this about Dennis playing C8B? Is there even a C8B table in the Philippines? I thought they were almost exclusive to China.

SVB hated the push for chinese 8 ball because he's a mortal on them. He wouldn't touch the Chinese 8 ball table I had at my room, but was strong at bumper pool.On a Chinese Table......Potts in a landslide any game, I would bet Appleton, Melling and Shaw to run over him in 8 ball and likely 9/10 ball also,

No money in it.Why haven't we seen Potts play any American pool tournaments? You would think such a brilliant English 8-ball cueist would have as much as success as Melling or Appleton.
You were asking whether there are any tables outside of China and the answer is certainly yes. They aren’t hard to get. What does Diamond's long ship time have to do with C8B table in the Philippines?
I personally don't think there are any there, or so few, that it would be a complete rarity. Same as if one was in the USA. I think a member here that was a room owner bought 1 or 2 about 10 years ago and then got rid of them shortly thereafter.
Match cut is 3.5" with standard American sized pool balls. 9ft total playing area. Down the rail involves beating it into the outside jaw at pace, with precision. Only thing I'd say is slightly easier, is playing slow over the middle pockets. Banking can also be manipulated further with spin due to the nap of the cloth, which negates the needs for diamond and makes the middles more forgiving, but playing them into any pocket at pace is harder.A C8B table is 8' with snooker style pockets, correct? Are the ball sizes snooker or US Pool sized? Is it as hard to make a ball close to the rail as on Snooker?

I wouldn't say buckets in comparison, knowing how to play the pocket is imperative. Chinese-8 tables will take balls you couldn't imagine if you know how to work the jaw of the pocket. I think a lot of people's issues at the UK open stemmed from the pocket facings, not the size of the pockets.Darren couldn’t make a ball at the UK open and generally looked lost on pockets that are buckets compared to Chinese 8ball table. Why would he be the odds-on favorite to beat Orcullo?
Yeah, I met a guy who played and beat SVB in Chinese-8. Said it made him more than mortal, I don't think it's often you'd see SVB drop his head on an American table. Dennis comes to China regularly to play, but it's not hard to find tables elsewhere. He seemed quite enamored with the game when I met him here. With the push for chinese-8 to become a global sport, you can find tables in many places you wouldn't expect these days.SVB hated the push for chinese 8 ball because he's a mortal on them. He doesn't like the bucket pockets. Why haven't we seen Potts play any American pool tournaments? You would think such a brilliant English 8-ball cueist would have as much as success as Melling or Appleton.
Chinese table, really......on a chinese table. it started off with shane looking for action, fedor replying and it looks like that one is finally happening. dennis jumps in and says he'll play filler, fedor or whoever "is the best in the world" for 200k, 9, 8 or 10 ball..

Chinese table, really...
He's calling out pool players who play on pool tables. I'm sure there's someone in China who'll play him on that weird felt table, LOL, this just woofing across the lake seeing if anything will fly. No time for this...
Now... in all actuality, I'm not sure if Dennis is the player he was several years ago when he was still in the US, probably IS, anyway, if so, Fedor and SVB are probably the only two that would play him in a long race and have a chance. I don't see Filler or other Euros, Americans, anyone really having the stamina.
Not sure how much longer the ban is, but, I can't wait to see him and Fedor, the young man ain't skeeeerrred of sh!te!
haha good day everyone.
South Dakota? If I recall correctly, SVB's bar in N. Dakota has a Chinese 8 ball table...
