Jim:

Absolutely gorgeous cue. One question (and perhaps a question better targeted to Mike G. himself?) -- what is that wood in the grip area itself? I realize the forearm and butt are Desert Ironwood (a gorgeous wood in its own right), but that grayish wood in the grip area is absolutely stunning to my eyes. Is that a spalted Maple of some kind? Or Bacote?

Let us know!

It is called Pale Moon Ebony. I have just got in a bunch of this wood and am making several playing cues. I also have 400 pieces of burl to make my new BURLMANIA Line. 2 Afzelia Burl cues are ready for sale, 864-458-7662 ask for Mike, I can send you a picture if you would like.

Mike - Have you come out with a conversion for any Gulyassey Sledgehammers since the BCA won't allow me to use your tip.
