Meucci has had some design winners over the years...

ITS paua plastic ya}ll should know that by now. Its petroleum product so the price will go up and down with the price of oil.

It IS GENUINE Paua Shell. The Paua Shell is stained. Those that don't believe it ... I beg you to file suit for false advertising...would love to see you in court. Most of those talking are simply envious competitors. Stop the slander. You are welcome to your opinion (albeit slanted for dubious reasons for some), but when you start making false statements about a product...that is libelous. Just sick of seeing it on this forum.

It had to come this way. All the Meucci-haters had to comment. For me a Meucci almost always looks better than a Predator but a Revo needs to look good, right? Because it's not a Meucci.

I like the cue, although it would not be my first choice from Meucci's line of production.

I got a Pro, an Ultimate Weapon and a Black Dot Shaft for my Meuccis and I like all of them. The Pro is my favorite, tho.

I play with Revo & have lots of customs, but also a fan of lots of the BMC line. Pro & UW shafts are both awesome too. My favorite is the UW

Thanks, gregnice. With your screen name you gotta be nice :-)

BTW, I fully understand why someone opts for a Revo. And I normally wouldn't criticize it from a "looks" point of view.

But I notice that the mention of the name "Meucci" just seems to always automatically draw hate comments. Not so with most other brands of cues. I like Meuccis and I believe they are no better or worse than any other production cue. Just different - some people like them, some don't.

Most of these folks, including myself, probably at one time liked the Meucci's back in the 'original' days ...1980's.. when Magnum PI and the Love Boat ruled..

BUT now we have 30+ yrs of evidence to prove this is a fraud of a company, who will sell faulty cues, make promises they'll never keep.. and if you're unlucky enough to use their repair shop, have your cue outright stolen while grinning thru their teeth.

Now let me tell ya none of what I said is libelous...pure fact that I can backup.

Side-note: if you ever get a chance to play in the Philippines, you'll see a lot of what us US players consider ugly cues.. they like the shiny (even plastic) looking styles.. just their preference I guess, but Dennis' cue reminds me of all those Ive seen over there..

I read those stories. And yes, I believe there is some truth in them. Now - how many thousands of customers did Meucci serve in the said timeframe - 30+ years. And which percentage had a bad experience?

BTW, I read the same/very similar stories about Predator's customer service, fulfilling warranty issues and so on. Predator does not - however - draw drones of negative comments each and every time a Revo shaft is mentioned. Just as an example.

My experiences with Meucci and Budget Cues were good. I just ordered a brand new cue with some extras recently from Budget. They did not get me the right (custom) length cue at first but immediately corrected the problem. This was my second good experience with Meucci during the last 8 years or so. Those are usually never mentioned - only the bad 1% or less makes the news.
