~~~~Dennis Searing~~~~
That's a nice non-conversion Searing. Ought to go as high as any plain jane. I can't think of one that would go higher.
I like the rings.
I'm a bidder.
Auction them Searings . I've never owned one . Might have to bid and find out if they live up to their reputation.
As far as riding the wind why don't you just blow on outta here as you obviously have no interest in the cue.
Let's see...you're right, you did not necessarily call me a name, but you sure like to screw with my moniker, not the first time. Tellin' me I have no right to post here because I have no interest in the cue is different than what you're accusing me of......how?
I seriously don't get the issue here...we used to get along just fine...so why the hate now?
Just soooooo over people passing judgement on me who do not even actually know me, but because it's cool to jump on the 'let's bash this person because someone else doesn't like them' bandwagon. Y'all couldn't be more high school if ya tried.
The difference here is...I am not a mean-spirited person. And I posted nothing that hasn't been posted in various other FS threads....by people such as yourself. But, oh, I forgot...this is about a Searing cue....so I guess all bets are off. A bit hypocritical, don't ya think?
But Lisa, your beef was there was nothing for sale when there was something for sale, Colin just had not started the auction at that time. The mods have stated links to Ebay auctions are acceptable. What was it about this thread that compelled you to make a negative post?
Jamie, I am not the only one who feels that using free ad space to generate interest/bids for an item being offered elsewhere, and not here, is being a bit abusive. Had the item been offered here and then moved to ebay, that is different. I have been contacted by quite a few well-respected, long-term members who feel the same way...I have a lot of support on this issue.
The post wasn't negative...it was simply asking the pertinent questions that I have seen posters in this very thread ask of others in the past. If this is to become a 'trend', I can see a whole lot of people on this site feeling alienated...because there are many, many members here that will not use ebay simply because of bad experiences purchasing there in the past. Trust in purchasing cues is at an all-time low....with all the bad deals and straight-up rip-offs of the last several years.
All the more reason that this section could use an overhaul.
You (and others) may feel that way, but it is not against the forum rules.
And why would it matter, no proceeds from the sales in the WFS forum go to the website owners.
The funny thing is the comments are in regards to a sale (or link to a sale), toward a well respected over 100 itrader great member on here lol. Colin is one of the good dudes on this site, maybe let this one go? Good luck with the sale brotha, it's a nice looking Searing and I am sure someone will be very happy with it!
So what you're saying is that someone with a good iTrader (which we all know means nothing really) and because of the cue being sold...he should get preferential treatment? Bollocks!
Mike pays to keep this site open for us...he works overtime to make sure things run smoothly. It should not matter if he doesn't take a percentage of the sale...it's kinda disrespectful....playing a loophole. Somehow, I don't think this is what was intended when they said they would allow ebay links.
Means nothing lol? Would you rather buy from someone with a -1 itrader and 12 posts, or someone with over 1.5k posts, a member since 07, and over 100 itrader with 100% flawless transactions? I am not going to argue with you on that one which is pretty common sense. Does it make you immune to a bad transaction? Nope...but does it help ease the mind buying one vs the other...well YES. We always preach escrow and nobody is perfect etc, but for you to say the itrader means nothing is Bollocks!....
Anyway this all started due to your comments which ended with "carry on" to which people can tell your post tone with that...Do you have any intention on buying? Does his thread make you feel all sad inside? Is he constantly bumping it so it is seen? Last I checked he only posted to try to put in a correct link. There are a lot worse posters breaking rules with constant bumpings and other infraction worthy things that Colins thread. I feel really bad for you that this thread bugs you and drives you toward forum police status. Not going to respond anymore, sorry Colin for thread derail, as it is a really nice cue and I am sure the owner will be very happy with this! I am bowing out now...not going to respond to your rebuttel Lisa so you can post it if you want, but you will just be giving Colins beautiful cue more exposure :D
Worth every penny, Dennis cues are priceless! The last cue you will ever want to buy, the search is over. Milwaukee Linda My playing cue : D. Searing Break cue ; Mezz Power Break Pro with H-shaft. Case : Rusty Melton
