Means nothing lol? Would you rather buy from someone with a -1 itrader and 12 posts, or someone with over 1.5k posts, a member since 07, and over 100 itrader with 100% flawless transactions? I am not going to argue with you on that one which is pretty common sense. Does it make you immune to a bad transaction? Nope...but does it help ease the mind buying one vs the other...well YES. We always preach escrow and nobody is perfect etc, but for you to say the itrader means nothing is Bollocks!....

Anyway this all started due to your comments which ended with "carry on" to which people can tell your post tone with that...Do you have any intention on buying? Does his thread make you feel all sad inside? Is he constantly bumping it so it is seen? Last I checked he only posted to try to put in a correct link. There are a lot worse posters breaking rules with constant bumpings and other infraction worthy things that Colins thread. I feel really bad for you that this thread bugs you and drives you toward forum police status. Not going to respond anymore, sorry Colin for thread derail, as it is a really nice cue and I am sure the owner will be very happy with this! I am bowing out now...not going to respond to your rebuttel Lisa so you can post it if you want, but you will just be giving Colins beautiful cue more exposure :D

I want whatever it is that you're smoking...lol! The rules either apply to all or none.....irregardless of who they are or what they're selling.

As to iTrader...I don't use it at all...far too easy to skew. I prefer to rely on those I have dealt with before or know and trust. If there is any question, I'll use Marcus to escrow. Pretty simple, really.

Colin is a member here with a flawless reputation among buyers, sellers and traders of high-level cues. He has been a member here for 6 years, has a flawless iTrader of 107 and I'm betting has never said a disparaging word to or about you.

This is his For Sale thread. He is offering a cue for auction that has hit in excess of 3.5K in one day and certainly will go higher, after all I'm still a bidder and I'm probably not going to be the winner.

AZ threads announcing eBay sales are certainly "legal". We had much discussion about this with the mods when the "new rules" came down and I was very much a part of that discussion as I sell many of my cues that way. You may not feel that is right, but that really doesn't matter. You know if you want to debate eBay sales, Colin's For Sale thread can't be the right place for it.

As right or wrong as you might be in your argument, you have to know its completely rude to Colin to keep it up in his thread.

Thanks

Kevin

PS Still a bidder

Great Cue Colin ! Glad to see folks bidding and spending some money, this cue is AWESOME buddy. All my best with the sale. Dan

Looks like it's going to hit 4K.
That's a great testament to Dennis's great work.

As an owner of a "plain" Searing and based upon the offers I have received in the past - this cue is just getting started.

Awesome offering Colin!

I wish you nothing but the best on this sale!!

I apologize to Colin for this apparently hot topic happening in his thread....but then again, it's not really a true W/FS ad, in the traditional sense, now is it? There is no rule being broken here with my comments, as I have made no comments concerning the cue, the pricing, the condition....etc.

The list of supporters I have has grown vastly overnight....so it is touching a real nerve here on AZB. And to be clear.....the list includes mostly members who could easily afford to purchase this cue, many times over. So, obviously this debate is not over. Out of respect for Colin, it IS over in this thread from me....but the topic is not going to go away....as there are plenty of members here that have issue with the sales tactic being employed.

Lisa please!!! How is a link to an Ebay auction a "sales tactic". It's been done since this site has existed, and now all of a sudden it has to be a big drama episode for you.

Please explain how this "sales tactic" is affecting your life.

WRONG! Overbumping is breaking rules.

The list of supporters I have has grown vastly overnight
And what is that have to do with this post exactly? List of supporters.....Oh WOW!!!
If there are so many supporters, why not start a separate topic in APPROPRIATE SECTION?
And of course the fact that your comments about how many supporters you got overnight pushing all other legit for sale posts down is a never mind to you.
That actually shows me exactly how much you care about others, including your supporters.

Yes, exactly.
DId I say I was not breaking any rules? Did you hear me say that I was perfect? Then why all this crap?
And by the way, me bumping posts has nothing to do with THIS HERE! She says that she did not break any rules and i pointed out that she did. Does it make her right? I think NOT!
She is wrong and you KNOW IT!

This poor guy's post has been lost in the bantering about of rules/regs.

What not take this issue(s) in a new thread (on the Main Forum) and leave this as it was originally intended...as a "heads up" to AZ members.

Colin, you and I have done business in the past..."Good Luck" to you my friend.

Why are you still here crapping on this thread. You just enjoy crapping all over a respected members thread? I think I hear non-pool related calling you.

Nobody here really cares what You or "plenty of others members think" .

The only thing they care is there is a beautiful Searing for sale, by a reputable seller, and may the highest bidder win. This will be one of the few times we are gonna actually get to see what the market will bear in regards to what a plain jane searing will bring. I think that is a pretty valuable piece of information that normally would be undisclosed .

I realize from my small experience selling pool cues on eBay, that cues, unlike most anything else, actually garner a quite high percentage of what will be their final value early in the auction. However, from years of practice as a bidder of all sorts of items, I wait until the end. My snipe is loaded, and as of yet (bidding @$3750), there's no reason for me to shut it off.

If I buy it, it will just end up back on eBay in a little while. I've never played with a Searing. Will has a beauty of a Searing box cue (of course), which I was admiring at last years ICCS show. Will asked me if I hat ever played with one, I said no, he said to take it overnight and play after the session. I declined. That I thought was an incredible offer, but I'd be way more comfortable were it my own cue. Which maybe this one will be.

Nice choice of maple on this cue BTW.

Kevin
