I am traveling in Denver, CO this week. I am in town Wednesday the 12th and Thursday the 13th. Hoping I can catch a tournament or some cheap action. If you know of any tournaments or places to catch some cheap action please let me know. Thanks!!!

Felt Billiards in Englewood has a Friday bar box tournament, I think it's 8-ball.
There should be some action there on Thursday, probably a few stone cold hustlers hanging around>>
There are some nice newer 9 ft. Diamonds and a few old Gold Crowns left from the old days.

Thursday night tournament BC's Sports Pub in Lakewood, not real nice bar, but not that bad either.
I think they are trying to make it a decent bar.

Greenfields is history for a while.

No other Thursday night tournaments that I can think of, but there are some good places to play.
I recommend Felt either way.

One more thing.
The restaurants in Denver suck.
Typically I would recommend that you eat before you get to Felt, however the last time I did that the place I stopped at was even worse.
As long as the cook is coherent at Felt you should be OK

There is a small Italian restaurant right by Felt that is awesome. 2700 S. Broadway
http://coloreitalian.com/. There is a decent Mexican place real close as well at 2651 S. Broadway. http://www.eltejadorestaurant.com/

If you go to Felt and you want a great place to eat nearby, I would go to Undici a few blocks away. Amazing Italian food.

Undici's is excellent, it's in the old Fratelli's building.
I always forget about Undici's

the day cook at Felt makes an excellent French toast.

What about the last time you & I decided to eat breakfast there.
We both ordered the same thing, you got bacon and I didn't, I got hash browns and you didn't.
I called the guy over, he looked at it at said "that's the way we do it around here".
Or what about the time the cook passed out making Larry's nacho's?
After three attempts at making nacho's, they closed the kitchen.
