It’s been awhile I think it’s overdue to bring back. I’ll add $500 of my own money as a beginning prize fund. I would like someone to coordinate a $100 entry that includes 5 breaks with no ball in hand and take the total ball count. Pay 50% 1st 30% 2nd and 20% for 3rd. If we can get $3,000 to $5,000 donated as money added prize fund this could easily be an amazing event. I don’t want responsibility of running but I’ll help if someone does. Thanks Chip Ginther

I thought it was a mistake when they cancelled it.

As I recall it was 5 racks so 75 possible balls. I think Alex ran 70 once. Been a long time.

I think it’s a great idea. Max and I were working on it while he was living with me and I watched him run 2 racks plus a few after a few days. There are a few videos of him on YT running 15’s.

Breaking between the 2nd & 3rd ball. We spent a couple hours one night figuring out the best break. Get the CB high enough but not so hard balls bounce back to the wrong side of the table. There is a sweet spot for that break. Open them up, high CB and off to the races 🏇🏇 like most pool games the break is super important in this prop.

I’ve never managed to run all 15. I’ve ran 13 twice in action. And 12 a million times. But I didn’t play strong enough to run 15&out.

Fun stuff,

I’ll add a few $’s

good luck getting 5k donated
I think that will be the easy part. The hard part is finding someone competent who is willing to spend five days of their life running it. In my experience, Diamond will provide a hotel room and a table if you get the money and staff together. They might even put in some money.

I'm not so sure, Bob.

Asking Diamond to dedicate even one table to a non-core event will be hard. Continuation of the DCC straight pool event became impractical when the field sizes grew to the point that all the tables were needed to run the core events and, as we know, even that hasn't always been enough to steer clear of some serious delays in the schedule.

I just don't see this happening.

Gabe ran a 63 and might ne greatest thing done in pool, with no ball in hand. Maybe big truck could do this.

I remember Gabe’s run💪💪

One of the stream tables could do it between action matches I’d guess. It doesn’t need a dedicated table like the 14.1 as it doesn’t take as long. Would be a time filler in between other things. I’m certain over 6-7-8 days there would be enough time.

I just talked to Greg Sullivan and he is generally in favor. The large problem from his perspective is finding a dedicated table for the tries. They don't really have extra tables as we found out with the straight pool. Maybe a table in the gambling room could be used. And maybe one of the independent streamers would like to host the thing.

That’s great Bob!! Thx for calling Greg.

As I suggested if we could use a stream table between “matches” it would be cool. Even if it was different tables it’s still pretty much the same equipment. And something new to argue about. How can that be a bad thing?!??!?

Best
Fatboy<———if I can help let me know, I’ll make calls etc.

I was hoping big truck could do it in between action matches, there should be plenty of time
Truck (Ray) is a cool guy. He might be cool with it. And give him a plug for being part of it. He’s smart and a good biz man. Looks like a win/win/win to me. I see no downside. The 5 attempts go fast and who cares what time of day they happen?

Fun ideas!

Let’s go!!

Knowing a little about running it…you need to have a dedicated table from noon to midnight for 5 days at least to get the best turnout possible.

I would have it $100 for 3 sets to get the most money in it.

If you don’t have a dedicated table for this it just won’t work well. Might be able to average 5-6 players an hour tops.

You won’t be able to just have it as a ‘filler’ between action matches.
