I was curious if anyone knew them, how many players play in the tournaments and also spectator attendance. I imagine the numbers are in the thousands but how many? :smile:

The players are usually 300-400, depending on the event. Not sure about the spectators. That's probably something that someone from diamond would have to answer.
I'd guess that the spectators are really mostly the players and a small amount of super fans, just like in most other pro events.

I would bet that there are as many spectators as players at DCC or maybe more. Most tournaments I would agree with your statement, but the DCC is different and there are hundreds of people who just come to watch and gamble and never play in the tournaments.

Not sure of the spectators.. like others said, though, a lot of people go to watch the champion caliber games and to gamble. I'm sure there's a fair amount of people in attendance that go within driving distance that are there just to watch. The max fields listed are for up to 400 players in each.
