Derby City Dress Code

I've always felt "collared shirt" was to eliminate wearing underwear as clothing, IOW, white pit stained undershirts and wife beaters.

I will admit, I am more impressed by somebody wearing clean, pressed clothes than somebody who looks like a midnight shopper at Walmart. YMMV

Event Co-Sponsors

I don't think Diamond is looking for event co-sponsors. On the other hand if a classy co-sponsor came along that wanted to drop mid-tens of thousands or so into the event I doubt Diamond would turn up their noses at them.

I suspect what is written or pictured on some T-Shirts has more to do with the ban than T-Shirts themselves. Seems unlikely but the dress code for competitors could be coming from the casino also.

It doesn't really matter, plenty of comfortable clothes to compete in besides T-Shirts. Diamond gives a lot and asks a little. I would accommodate them. Pool players have a long history of forgetting the golden rule, he who has the gold makes the rules, and it has cost them dearly.

They could sell t-shirts with Diamond logos on them. If you want to wear a t-shirt, you have to wear one of theirs.

exactly what I would do.

If I was Diamond I would have a stock of Diamond shirts on hand. If you don't meet the dress code at the time for the match to start you can forfeit or buy a Diamond shirt.

Of course if I was planning to deliberately ignore the dress code I would be sure I could come up to snuff with two minutes notice too.
