I don't think Diamond is looking for event co-sponsors. On the other hand if a classy co-sponsor came along that wanted to drop mid-tens of thousands or so into the event I doubt Diamond would turn up their noses at them.
I suspect what is written or pictured on some T-Shirts has more to do with the ban than T-Shirts themselves. Seems unlikely but the dress code for competitors could be coming from the casino also.
It doesn't really matter, plenty of comfortable clothes to compete in besides T-Shirts. Diamond gives a lot and asks a little. I would accommodate them. Pool players have a long history of forgetting the golden rule, he who has the gold makes the rules, and it has cost them dearly.
