He only lost to two people gambling at the derby, Hennesse & Joyner. He had a rematch which each, Joyner at 1 hole & Hennesse at 10 ball, and the stakes were either for the same amount or for more. So he really didn't lose any cash at all. He probably won around 20,000.

he won the ring game around 18gs and he won three sets against Alex P for 8gs a set and het go back to even with joyner i think even or a little ahead and i think it was 5 he lost to henny but i think he might had got that back also if im not mistaken....maybe i helped a little haha

IRS? First off, theres a thing at the end of the year, like any business, where you get to write off your expenses and your losses. How many actual pool players have anything at the end of the year? Unless they have sponsor money coming in, not very many.

But in retrospect, any sentence with the letters IRS involved, even in the middle of another word, makes me cringe. They have absolutely no sense of humor.

the numbers people say about any large match are almost always wrong. Mostly they are wrong because there are usually groups of people in on large bets, and then even those people have other people "in" with them on their part of the bet. The actual amount the player gets it its much lower, maybe 25-40%..maybe more maybe less...it all depends. Every bet is like a snowflake, looks about the same from a distance but is different in a unique way when you are super close to what is going on.
