Some people enjoy Danny's commentary, to me it is repetitive and tiring. Billy Incardona is much better for one pocket but Jeremy Jones is my favorite. I would like to see JJ and Billy in the booth together.
What a battle, can't keep up.......6-5 Daulton.

As many bad shots as both of these guys have hit.....Efren looks good.

Danny D. is in the BCA for other reasons ! (mostly longevity)..It sure ain't for his commenting, or his one pocket shot selection... Billy I. does both MUCH better !
Daulton kicks one in and banks one in, locks it to the pack and puts the two in the jaws. Frost kicks to make the two and leaves it 3 down and looking good for Daulton.
Daulton has six and hits awsome bank its over game three to Daulton.
Danny D is a legend and a great straight pool commentator. I'd LOVE to take lessons from him.
He sucks b@lls at one pocket commentary...loses track of the score, can't see the color of the balls,etc...for YEARS now. Its almost become a side joke about his shoot the bank and go three rails with inside english shot he mentions every game. Billy is far better, Freddie is far better, and JJ is so damn good he made straight pool (a game he barely plays) commentary very enjoyable.
My 2 cents.
I love Efren but wouldn't mind any of the last 3 winning. Daulton was so strong for awhile, Frost is awesome to watch, Efren can add to his 1-P legacy at DCC.

Danny is so old he sees in black and white so its not his fault. I still love the guy though.
I really like him...I just have bought too many tapes where an hour goes buy with him forgetting a scratch, or talking about the balls looking like snooker balls.
He truly was a great player, I would just prefer guys like Freddie B, Fusco, or other old school 1-P specialists doing the commentary instead of a straight pool player who doesn't really seem to know some of the little details of the game.
Too bad guys like Steve Cook, Bugs, Allen Hopkins, Fusco have either passed away or don't get a chance to do more 1-P commentary.
