After the draw they posted the matches on the board. First matches are at 12, next round after begins at 1:30.

Earl Vs Danny Smith (Tucson Peachauer Tour stop winner) at 1:30 today. Should be GREAT match. Not too mention ALL the others!

Get off your ass, or out of work, and come watch the best in the world. This sort of thing don't happen often, especially right in your own backyard.

Anyone know where is working folk that can't get out can find the brackets or first round match ups???
;)

I don't think they are published online anywhere yet. But I have them completely memorized, so who do you want to know? ha ha. Yeah.

Some of the good first rounders are: (off my 1 a.m. memory last night)

Mike Pankoff vs Scooby
Frost vs Ray Robles
Efren vs Mika (Winner plays the winner of Earl Stricklands vs Danny Smith)
Gus Briesno vs Parica
Archer vs Chuck Evans (I Think)

I'll add more when I can start thinking again this morning....

Efren and Mika were playing when I left. Ray Robles won a hill-hill match against Scott Frost. I'm not sure who else won their matches other than I know that John Schmidt won his first match over Mike Sandoval. I won my first match and I play John tonight at 6:00.

I'll post more if I get a chance.

It's a world class field here, with just about all the top American players plus a few foreign champs. Only Shane is missing from among the American players.

The guys at Kolby's bailed us out on one days notice. We completely transformed their poolroom into a tournament venue, that will easily accommodate 250 spectators. Good crowds already on day one. The word of mouth is amazing in Phoenix. Everyone chipped in to get the word out.

Good venue, good field, great Ten Ball! Saved by the bell! I have to say this is one of the most challenging events I've ever worked on. And I'm talking about in the last two days prior to starting the event. Running the actual tournament should be a piece of cake after everything we just went through to save it. :)

Wow, what a great field of players. Thanks, Rick S., for posting the chart.

Jay, looking forward to your excellent updates! :)
