Developing a Pool Magic Routine

I've been watching Penn and Teller's magic show where guests are invited to stump the magicians.

I am interested in developing a magic routine based on the pool table, I am hoping to have 30 minutes worth of material.

I used to practice Mike Massey's routine, but I could never get it to be popular with my groups.

Plus I think this is my way to beat DrDave on youtube with entertaining videos based on a pool theme introducing kinematics.

My goal is to outperform DrDave on youtube metrics in the first hour within two years. I did a test yesterday within our first 10 minutes of posting he has 377 views to my 7 views. However I didn't centralize my content. I reposted the video on other platforms. I can only say that I think my goals are realistic.

A guy actually has already done a pool/magic act on Penn & Tellers show. Google it. It was entertaining.

The routine is hardly pool focused.

It does seem sped up for the show.

He did one set trick shot, and a magic reveal for a hidden pool cue. After that he did card tricks.

It doesn't exactly show a full range of documented billiard situations that are exciting.

I have Byrne's Trick shot book, and many of the examples are fun demonstrations of physics that are naturally exciting.

Jimmy Caras had a deal where he could put three balls in each hand and roll them across the table and add them together before hit the end rail. Not really magic as much as a guy with a quick mind.

See my other thread. I am practicing camera angles and video edting.

I was thinking of calling the skit the Quantum shot. I would composite shots together to make it appear as if the cue ball does teleportation.
I've rehearsed filming it with practical effects and minimal editing.

Do you think it'd be worth checking out. The audience here feels well past understanding quantum states but I still think the demonstration would be cool. However that isn't a full act.

I admire people who do video editing. I didn't get the lighting perfect, but at least the camera angle held still.

I present a first attempt at Quantum pool.

I am not trying to up subscribers. I am interested in your input.

I've been reading your threads for 15 years here guys. Some of you have gotten more involved in my discussions.

Today I will make an animated gif for Amsterdam Billiards. see the test section for concept rehearsal
