Diagramming shots these days?

Hi Mohrt, beggars can't be choosers :) ....but, can you change the table so its a 9' when you have the chance to fool around with it more?

Thank you.

If you have Adobe Illustrator, I can send you my diagramming template. You can move balls around, add directional lines, ghost balls, english, and power

Using the balls as spacing between diamonds, your table does not match a 9' GC table. See below.

Camera is a bit skewed in this picture, but 1 ball is directly centered over diamond.

This picture of the 6 is directly centered over the 6 (true perspective)

(Note, the white lines on the table are teh exact diamond lines). I transferred them to the table very carefully using squares, and string spanning the center of each diamond.

ok its not perfect according to ball size. but it is not close to 8 or 7 foot table, it is far closer to 9 ft.

Agree its close. It can make a difference when putting balls on the table, especially in 1 pocket layouts. This came up before when one of the original wei tables was 8', and there was a big discussion on that.

Thank you for your efforts with this diagramming tool. Any eta on when it will have the lines added?

Thanks.

Straight pool lines? Or?

Walter,

I must be missing something. Is there some reason why you can't use cuetable.com (or pool.bz)? You can sign in, diagram on the cuetable editor, then use the windows snipping tool to post the layout.

For me, the technology behind cuetable (shockwave) is very unstable, at least it is on Safari on a Mac. It also does not work on Chrome, and Firefox is hit and miss. If I install all the right plugins, it will usually bring the browser to a crawl or kill it all together.

Flash/shockwave is a dying technology, and the path forward is HTML5. All major browsers on all platforms support HTML5 natively now, it is substantially faster and it is what the BTG diagramming tool is based upon.

I agree, pool.bz table diagram tool is feature-rich however virtually inaccessible for a large number of web users due to the shockwave instability issue.

Tate, just have to say your shot has me cracking up! Thanks for the laugh :D

I created one on a site of mine that may work if you snip it and paste...

www.WhatWouldAdamDo.com

The site is not ready for mass use but the functions work.

It uses Shockwave right now, but I am working on a way to make it more user friendly
