Diamond arrived update

No, that is what you WANT to make the argument to be because it fits YOUR agenda. Some interpret quality and craftsmanship as how well built the table is to shoot pool at the highest level. Cosmetic blemishes does not affect that. Others like you expect visual perfection because you are treating it as some kind of showpiece. Now I am not at all saying it is wrong for you to expect perfection as the value of dollar differs for each person, but don’t get things twisted.
If by my "agenda" you mean not yours, then ya you're right...lol.

However you're twisting what you believe is my agenda by saying I want visual perfection. That is not the case. I want what's being sold to me and visual consistency. Very big difference there.

If it was listed on Diamond's website that purchasers may expect cosmetic flaws and/or inconsistency, but the table will roll straight then I also would have no dog in this fight...lol.

I am not twisting anything when those are your words. As you said just a few posts again, you want perfection.

A table that enjoys hanging it's hat on the "Proudly Made in America" sales pitch. Isn't this whole 'made in America' thing supposed to symbolize the very best you can get..?.., pride in craftsmanship..?.., etc.

If this was not a Diamond, but a table from China or some other nation thought to produce sub par products. All the responses would have mocking under tones of "that's what get for not buying American".
Made in America doesn't avoid adverse criticism here. I recently bought an 8x4 Olhausen and some here didn't fail to inform me that I made a mistake and thought a made in China Brunswick was a better choice. If the owner is happy with his or her table that's all that matters.

I have a friend whose Pro-Am was delivered with some scratches and a mark on the cloth. Was purchased and set up by same dealer. They did everything that had to be done to make it right.

Did the OP reach out to AZB thinking someone on here would help address his concerns? Or did he think he needed to enlist the gang members on AZB to help put pressure on Diamond to address his concerns, because he didn't think they'd back up his purchase? My first thoughts were, if he had some concerns, why didn't he wait until Monday and contact Diamond directly, BEFORE posting on AZB? I know he reached out to Heath, the sales rep, but what's HE going to do on the weekend, Diamond's closed!!!

The man just spent upwards of $10K for a table, he's not waiting until Monday in the world of the internet. If a company cannot keep up with the times they will go down.

Also, re-read his post, seems to me like he just spent 10K and is curious if others have experienced the same. I saw no bashing of any sorts, maybe his original post was viewed with a biased view? You were the one that came on here and started being snarky to people. You bring this on yourself.

Suck a big one, you're not involved, never was, and never will be, and will never buy a Diamond in the first place!

I talked with the OP, and gave him the advice he was looking for. You talk to a thread on AZB like you're suppose to be someone important or something. In case no one has told you yet, no, you're not important! Your opinion don't matter!

I'm pretty sure my opinion doesn't matter, yet people keep responding to me....lol
Thats because most of you on AZB can't find anything worth while to talk about, so you just jump in threads even if you don't know what you're talking about, even if they don't pertain to you!!

So my diamond arrived this wasn't a super smooth install unfortunately. Diamond sent out an extra side gully vs corner so installer built an extender out of card board until we can get the part in. The carpet blocker for the rack was made backwards installer fixed that. There seems to be a few nicks on this overall. Is this normal for you other diamond owners? I also took a pic of the rails. Looks like scratches all over installer said it's just the PRC.
Big companies hate the bbb and once you file with the bbb they will bend over backwards to make it right

Intelligent opinions and facts presented in a professional manner go a long way towards establishing someone on AZB, or anywhere else on the Internet for that matter. Before your posts can be responded to they have to be read. Your posts are read. Some others are rarely read or read for late night entertainment!

Always a pleasure to read your posts!

In the 30+ years Diamondnhas been in business, no one bends over more to make things right than they do! Even when I don't agree with them because its the customers fault in some cases, they STILL try making the customers happy! It's really a shame that so many people got their heads stuck so far up their hole, they can't give the respect to Diamond that they're due!!!!

That's the best part of it all, I KNOW my opinion doesn't matter yet, here you are, being 100% aggressive for no reason. Why is that?

Go pour a drink, enjoy some blues (link provided below ;)), and relax. You ARE one of the most knowledgeable people I know of when it comes to tables but you are also one of the most least humble people I know and you have zero tact. And I give credit where credit is earned - you don't need to be tactful. Clearly, given how busy you are, there is a large portion of the country that either doesn't know or doesn't care about your general attitude towards others but there is also a large portion of the population, of which I'm included, that would NEVER give their money to someone who acts like you.

Cheers ;)
