They're not playing call-safe just call-shot afaik. There's gonna be some degree luck in any pool game. Hell, snooker and Chinese 8ball both allow flukes and they pay-out light yrs more $$ than any other cuesports.

In the hotseat match, I think each player made just one error (from an Accu-Stats TPA perspective). Chang played a safety in Game 1 and Arranas then ran out, so charge a safety error to Chang. Arranas scratched on the break in Game 6, so charge a break error to Arranas. This translates into TPAs of .986 for Aranas and .976 for Chang.

That was an impressive performance by Aranas. At no time did he ever lose his focus, not on any one shot! He maintained his composure and a resoluteness on every rack. These last few years of playing money games against the Philippine's best have seasoned him and made him a complete player. He knows how to finish a rack and finish a match. You could tell his mind was on only one thing, hitting each shot perfectly. That was a man at one with the balls and the table! What a pleasure to watch.

This is his tournament to win and he knows it.

That will be a 5th/6th-place match scheduled for 1 pm Vegas time. So they are running a couple hours behind.

Perhaps they don't view it as bailing. They covered one match so far today. If they do the last 3 matches, that'll make 4 for the day, which might be all they planned. But wouldn't it be nice to know what their plans are?

I'm done with them..... I appreciate it's a free stream and all, but if they can't tell us their plans, I'm not going to "continue" to search and hope all day. I've wasted hours looking already. Time to move-on with my day.
