Hello everyone,

I just wanted to know if anyone knows of any Diamond tables, specifically bar boxes at any establishments in Southern California. The further South, the better.

Thanks,
JJ

Butera's in Moorpark
Pocket's in Manhatten beach
Mrlucky's in Hawthorne
Shooter's in Huntington Beach
Filling Post in Huntington Beach
Gaynor's Lounge in Garden Grove
Bart's Pub in Garden Grove
Cue Time Billiards in Covina

thanks Donny,

Do either of those places in Huntington or Garden Grove have more than one smart table? I'm down in San Diego and want to go check one out and would hate to make the drive to find only one table in use.

Also, if you had to pick could you recommend one establishment over any of the others?

thanks,
JJ

Shooters in HB. Four 7' procut bar boxes.:)
Saturday tournament starts at 2pm.
Strong field. Lots of fun.
Gaynors just one
Fillin post just one
Bart's has two tables with tournaments Tues and Sunday night

I've seen one 9 ft diamond table in Rancho Cucamongo.

Seems like Diamond tables haven't caught on in California I see 9 ft Gold crowns and 7 ft Valley bar tables.

Is there a big expense associated with Diamonds not making it worth it to room owners to swap their Gold crowns?

That has nothing to do with Diamond, as Brunswick has the same problem...neither are going to give a way their tables so that room owners will replace the tables they have....so that is 100% up to the room owners to make that choice;)

Also, as far as southern, southern california goes, all the pool rooms down here are filled with only 9' tables, 3C and Snooker tables. There aren't any 7 footers. College Billiards has a Diamond Pro Am and another smaller room has 3 of them.

I am mainly hunting down the barboxes just to see what they are like before BCA Nationals.

thanks for all the responses

Mr. Lucky's has THREE Diamond Smart Tables (7')!

In Donny's post I guess he was addressing the 7' tables only because he didn't mention the OC Sports Grill in Orange. He's in the process of putting some 9' tables in there.

Filling post, Gaynors Louge and Cue Time Billiards only have 1 Diamond Table. I won't give a recommendation because I do business with these locations.

Actually there's not a big expense with the Diamond's. Their less money than new Gold Crown's. That's why you see pool halls with GC 1's,2's and 3's. Owner's are putting money into these old tables that are on their last leg. They may look okay on the outside but there really falling apart.

Now that Diamond has a service tech in CA. There more willing to offer deals with less down payment with a low monthly payments and quick deliveries. I will actually let owners test drive the tables for 60 days at no cost. I have done this with 3 locations and every location has purchased the table. I'm even willing to do this in San Diego.

There will soon be Diamond 9-footers in Orange County. Like Mitchel said at the OC Sport Grill in Anahiem (formerly Nationals). These will be Coin-Operated 9-footers. $1 per game and $5 for 1/2 hour.

If anyone knows a owner that interested call me, Donny 714-943-7137
