Yep varney your right.I just got a new tiger x shaft and the shaft is awsome. The tip is a sniper and it the best tip. I ever played with as in hardness and it keeps it shape perfect.I tryed a sniper tip before and thought it was junk but the key is make sure they no how to put the tip on right!!!!!!:) :)

I need a whole lot more convincing before I go there.

I buy Moori and Sniper for much less than this and there is a lot of feedback supporting them from huge numbers of well known players.
 
Maybe Im wrong about this. I'll go get my JOSS cue today and go get a sniper put on it. I'll give it yet another try. I have an older Pred 314 shaft I can put it on. But what is the KEY of doing it right? Every cue reapair I've seen even at the shows put in on the lathe and use the tool. What should he do differently? The thing is is that I DID like the Sniper at first way back then. I liked the blue color of the tip. I won 3 mtaches with it then BFFFFF!

Convince me. Please tell me what he should do to make it right.
 
Small passes ( razor blade ) and wetting the sides prior to cutting.

The tech can also call for instructions.

NEVER use a lathe tool to trim a Sniper.:eek:
Send your shaft to someone who knows how...or even to Tiger.;)

You do realize the two are the same, right? They literally are made in the same building by the same machines with the same materials.
