Did anyone hear about a third Movie?

I remember hearing from somewhere that there was a third movie being worked on in the Hustler, Color of $$ series. A trilogy I guess, has anyone else heard this?
 
Never heard of it, but a great plot line would be Tom Cruise getting his ass handed to him by Kid Delicious.
 
The timing is about right...There have been a lot of "retro" movies of late...

Also right on the heels of the upcoming movie 21 (which looks pretty good BTW)

I would love to see a new "well done" pool movie.

Thats what I thought. It would give the sport another boost for sure and if you have Vincent being taught how to steakhorse by fast eddie and some new guy being taught the hustle, you could get three different angles in one. I can't remember how I heard of this.

Really???? man for a movie like that I am sure he would come out of retirement. Why do you have to be so negative Brady ;)

Sorry Mark - I was just letting you know. He owns race cars and health food/dog food/salad dressing now.

I would love to see another movie like that for sure.

Since you won that tourney at main street you seem to know everything :) have you played since then? I think if you quite now you can always say "Well the I won the last Tourney I entered" I have been up to Kolbys a couple of times but havn't seen you in a while. Is everything going well? I havn't seen Lenny either.

I was up at Kolby's last Sunday. I played league last night at Northern Lounge. I only went 4 and 1. Kind of a crappy night :). I will be playing in the Scotch Triples at Kitty's this weekend with a 9 and and 8. We should do well.

Oh, I had no idea that he was retired and even less idea that he had been asked point blank about it and refused. Oh well, like tjl said maybe a camio appearance would be nice. I guess you have all answered my question, maybe I deamt it??

If they make another one they will have to do it without Newman. He has said he will not make another movie.

I wouldn't hold my breath for 9 ball (straring JB ) or a movie about Danny's life. Pool movies are a very tough sell. The only way they work (if the story is good and not done before ) is with box office stars=$$$$$, and that makes it an even harder sell. Johnnyt

Why, the first 2 had no resemblance to the books of the same name.
