Did I just see AZ's own "cleary"....

Was there more than 3 people that played or is this a heavily handicapped tournament?

Heavily handicapped -- "ABCD". The Open/Pro, on the other hand, was won by Mika.

That's not to take away from cleary, as those ABCD events usually are pretty well-attended events -- he was bound to run into a few strong "A" (and higher) players.

EDIT: the player skill ratings (and point rankings) can be found here: http://predatorproamtour.com/points_all.htm

Tough

The Predator AB/CD events are pretty tough. The AB's and CD's are grouped together until the semi's and then they play each other. This does not make it any easier for a C, as there are some real bandits at the C+ level who play in these events.
Definitely a great achievement to make it to third in this tournament is extremely tough.

The guy who won it, is an absolute monster A+, so to take him to the hill is an achievement in itself.
Well done Cleary.

Thank you, thank you. Yes it is a handicapped event and I am a C player. I played very well and above my normal speed to get where I got.

I lost to "The Parrot" who is very very good. Maybe too good for that event. Very tough... and I took him to the hill. I was up 9-8, broke dry and never shot again. What can ya do?

I really wished I could have won but whatever, I'll get my chance again.

Well done Cleary. Handicapped event or not, you had to play consistant pool to do so well. Congratulations  !
