a friend of mine that visited him last summer...advised me that he thought he just heard he died.... i have been trying to call the business number for a few days now and nothing....

PAUL IS STILL ALIVE THIS IS A MISPOST sorry to hear about MR. PAUL HUEBLER he was a great cue maker and made ONE HELL of a CUE! i have owned many. my condolences to the family. you will be missed. Donnie I CAN NOT VERIFY THIS INFORMATION

So it's for real?? You would think there would be more response to this...Very well known/respected in pool circles...searched other sites/google, no help, but maybe today a confirmation?
 
i agree I always loved pauls work, I been waiting to see someone in the know post about this also as per if its fact or not?

If true, the pool world lost another good one.

Anyone here near Linn Missouri swing by his shop Monday and check this shop. Even when he downsized to only accepting repair work, he told me he had a helper in the shop because of his advanced arthritis.

I verfied Friday that Mr. Paul is still alive, but is not doing any cue work right now because of health reasons and downsizing the shop. Mr. Huebler told me that he was cutting back for some time.
